forwarded message is broken in 2.2.10 with pigeonhole-0.4.2
Hi,
forwarding a message with sieve like
redirect:copy "me at other.domain";
was working without any problem until dovecot-2.1.17, dovecots lmtp and
dovecot-2.1-pigeonhole-0.3.5.
Using dovecot-2.2.10 , dovecots lmtp and dovecot-2.2-pigeonhole-0.4.2
the structure of a forwarded message is broken. Content of a message is

Problem rebuilding Centos 5/6 pigeonhole RPM from mercurial version
Hi Stephan, I'm traying to rebuild the RH (Centos) EL5 and EL6 RPM with
the last mercurial pigeonhole 0.4.2 version, but I'm having problems
with the build.
I think that I've isolated the problem outside rpmbuild context.
I've downloaded dovecot and pigeonhole mercurial versions and built
dovecot with the commands:
dovecot-2.2.10$ ./autogen.sh
dovecot-2.2.10$ ./configure

problem compiling pigeonhole + my fix
hello,
yesterday I tried to package dovecot-2.0beta5 + pigeonhole from Mercurial repository.
I put pigeonhole as a subdir in the dovecot sourcetree.
Following http://hg.rename-it.nl/dovecot-2.0-pigeonhole/raw-file/tip/INSTALL
I called ./autogen.sh; ./configure --with-dovecot=..; make
In the buildprocess I saw this output ( from autogen.sh ):
Putting files in AC_CONFIG_AUX_DIR, `..'.

Pigeonhole, vacation being sent incorrectly
Hi,
I have an issue with a vacation message in a sieve script. I can't see
an error in the script itself.
Pigeonhole version: 0.4.2-32
Dovecot Version: 2.2.10
The script was created by Ingo (part of the Horde suite), but I think
the script is fine. The problem is that when a message is sent to the
"everyone" group (and alias for every person in the organisation),

Is the trunk version of Pigeonhole still broken or am I missing something?
Things broke a couple of months back and I thought I had caught the
repository at a bad time, but trying again today, after having seen that
people had been working on it recently, bore the same result.
../../../../libtool: line 2072: cmd-vacation.c: command not found
I'm simply syncing with the repository and using autogen, configure and
make.
Are there any other steps required?

Errors building 3.6.25 after applying security patches
Hi,
I'm attempting to build 3.6.25 after applying the 16-Dec-2015 and the
12-Apr-2016 patches from samba.org but I'm seeing two issues. First during
autogen.sh I see:
/build/samba/samba-3.6.25/source3 # ./autogen.sh
./autogen.sh: running script/mkversion.sh
./script/mkversion.sh: 'include/version.h' created for Samba("3.6.25")

[PATCH libguestfs] build: revive the ocaml package tests
This reinstates the autogen.sh-based test for the two
required ocaml packages.
I've tested it by running autoconf.sh first with neither
of the two packages installed, then with only ocaml-xml-light
installed. In both cases, autogen.sh failed as required.
When both were installed, it worked as expected.

cvs: debian updates and autogen.sh trouble
Hello,
I couldn't help noticing that the debian build system in cvs was
changed. As I used to compile and install from cvs, I discovered
a small problem regarding autogen.sh. It's called in debian/rules,
before the obj-dir is created (and changed into and ../configure is
started). At least on my system autogen.sh implicitly runs
./configure, so the original source path is already

Could this autogen.sh script be added?
Could someone add this autogen.sh script to the
toplevel of openssh_cvs?
Many projects include an autogen.sh script
so that folks need not remember what auto
commands need to get run and in what order.
% cat autogen.sh
#!/bin/sh
# Run this program (./autogen.sh) after changing any of
# the files that are used to automatically generate
# other files.

autoconf
#automake

OpenBSD 3.2 Problem
Well after some hunting arround I have discovered that I must use the
autogen.sh script. The errors from the autogen script tole me what packages I
nede to load to run the script. The only package that I had to build was the
autoconf 2.57 package. Now the autogen script gets to the point of checking
verson of bison... 1.35 ok, then gices and error of './configure[5562]: syntax

[PATCH libguestfs] build: make autogen.sh update .git-module-status, as it should
I ran autogen.sh, but then make was always failing like this:
$ make
cfg.mk:141: *** gnulib update required; run ./autogen.sh first. Stop.
Here's the fix:

[PATCH] docs: fix instructions for building from git
On current Fedora releases the ocaml modules will fail to
link unless CFLAGS contains -fPIC.
The autogen.sh script only updates the 'gnulib' submodule,
and so the build will fail due to the missing 'common'
submodule. This needs to be manually initialized at checkout.

building from svn
After downloading libogg-1.1.tar.gz, libvorbis-1.0.1.tar.gz, and
libtheora-1.0alpha3.tar.gz; building and installing them in that order, and
trying the alpha3 theora encoder, I decided to try to build theora from svn.
Using svn to checkout theoratrunk worked ok. The first time I tried to
execute ./autogen.sh, it complained that I didn't have automake. Mandrake
10.0 comes with automake
