Uncomplete hiding on Firefox 1.5
Hi all, I have observed the following on Firefox 1.5 (both on XP and OSX): My page has some div containers that hold sortable ul. The div's also contain links for showing/hiding the contained ul's. No matter which effect I use to do the hiding and showing (Fade/Appear, SlideUp/Down, BlindUp/Down) the hidden ul's don't hide completely, leaving a blank 'trace' behind.

Question about sortables
Hi, I''m trying to use sortables to sort table rows and move them between different tables (yes, it''s actual tabular data ;). However, either I don''t know how to use the tag property of Sortable.create properly, or it''s only working for li''s. Since it''s probably the first option, could someone post an example of sorting tr tags and move them

Adding sortables dynamically
Hi all, is there a way to define the containment option for a sortable so that it is a class name instead of an id list? I have a case very similar to the sortable lists demo, the only difference is that I'm adding new list containers dinamically, so either I need to redo the Sortable.create calls for all new elements to include the newly added container, or having someway to have them

Jumpiness in effects
Hi all, is there any best practices I can follow to avoid jumpiness in the effects I launch? It looks like no matter how careful I am, I never am able to obtain the smooth effects I see on the demo page or on sites like Fluxiom or Exit404 Thanks for any tip Victor -- Victor Jalencas <Victor.Jalencas@gmail.com> _______________________________________________ Rails-spinoffs mailing list

R-code in html help pages: syntax highlighting
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, A follow up to my previous post. It'd be good to have syntax highlighting in the html help pages. There is highlight (http://www.andre-simon.de/) which seems to be open source. Since code is delimited in the help file format, it should not be too difficult to run a highlighting program (actually, vim and emacs do this too) recursively and

Web-based Ruby Syntax Highlighter
Hi all, Last night, I wrote a web-based syntax highlighter that takes Ruby and produces nice HTML of the code, ready for including on web pages, or in blog posts, or whatever. I don''t know how useful it will be for other people, but feel free to use it. Anyway, the URL is : http://syntax.carldr.com/ Any comments/suggestions would be gratefully received. Enjoy!

Markdown friendly synatx highlighting
Hello everyone! I am using markdown on my blog (Markdown Extra actually, thank you Michel!). I use code snippets heavily and I really appreciate that I shouldn't escape '<' and '>' manually. However I always wanted to use syntax highlighting for code snippets and it's a bit hard with markdown because most highlighters require some indication of a code language

Syntax highlighting
Hi, I would like know if there are any plans for some "standardized" syntax highlighting of R code? * Currently I'm using minted for my LaTeX slides with pygmentize and I do not know what scheme is used for highlighting the R code. * RStudio uses (as default) TextMate (Text editor for MacOS) highlighting for R code. * The R package "highr" just defines CSS classes and

asterisk syntax highlighting for gedit
Hi, Apologies if this is a duplicate - been having mail server issues and I don't think I managed to send it when I tried this morning. It seems there is no .conf syntax highlighting script available for gedit. I'm thinking of putting one together myself, but don't want to reinvent the wheel. So I'm just enquiring if anyone knows of one that already exists that i've missed.

dpaste, pastebin etc. Syntax highlighting for R?
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi All, There are many sites to get bite-sized chuncks of code. The nice thing is that they use syntax highlighting. Examples: http://dpaste.com/ http://pastie.org/ http://pastebin.com/ Twitter with a link to a syntax highlighting site would do wonders. There are plugins for most (good) editors to post directly to the site from the editor.

nano syntax highlighting for R
Nano is Free Software and a nice intro text editor. It also starts up very quickly and has good syntax highlighting functionality, so it makes a nice file viewer. The syntax highlighting is configured in the ~/.nanorc file. See the attached code and screenshot. I was looking for good nano syntax highlighting code for R when I found by Stephen Haptonstahl's code here:

Problems with creating my own syntax highlighter
Well, I wanted to make my own syntax highlighter using Wx::StyledTextCtrl. The easiest way to do it seemed to parse the text contents in a content-changed-event. But it doesn''t seem to work.. I tried to edit the scintilla sample and added this event(@sci is the StyledTextCtrl): @sci.evt_stc_change(@sci.get_id) do @sci.clear_document_style @sci.start_styling(1,31)

R-latex syntax highlighting?
Hello, Can anyone provide or point me to a good setup for the listings latex package that would produce nice R-syntax highlighting? I am using an example I found in internet for setting up listings like this: \lstset{ language=R, basicstyle=\scriptsize\ttfamily, commentstyle=\ttfamily\color{gray}, numbers=left, numberstyle=\ttfamily\color{red}\footnotesize, stepnumber=1, numbersep=5pt,

[LLVMdev] VIM syntax highlighting
I have made a vim syntax highlighting script for LLVM. It can be found at llvm/utils/vim/llvm.vim. You should copy this file to your ~/.vim/syntax/ directory and add the following lines to your .vimrc file to have it automatically load on a .ll file. augroup filetype au! BufRead,BufNewFile *.ll set filetype=llvm augroup END Misha claims to be making a script for all you emacs

Community help: creating Syntax-Highlighter-brush for R and WordPress.com
Hello dear R community, *Background:* Since I see more and more R users who blog about R opening their blogs in WordPress.com, I contacted one of their workers asking if they could add Syntax highlight support for R. He replied to me saying that if there was a "Brush" for R, according to the format given here:
