Requirement for pandoc 1.12.3 in R 3.1.3
Thanks Brian. Indeed, the vignette is in markdown form. When I updated my system to R 3.1.3 I ran update.packages() and this seems to have upset things (including R-studio processing of markdown files). I tried removing rmarkdown and reverting to an older version so that my sessionInfo() is Loading required package: rmarkdown > sessionInfo() R version 3.1.3 (2015-03-09) Platform:

Requirement for pandoc 1.12.3 in R 3.1.3
Are other developers finding R 3.1.3 problematic because vignette building requires pandoc 1.12.3, while Linux Mint 17 / Ubuntu 14.04 have 1.12.2.1? R 3.1.2 seems to work fine. I'd very much like to avoid having to build as large a Linux package as pandoc, which has given me issues outside of R (it leaves out words, sentences or paragraphs when converting Latex to epub in a novel I'm

DsReplicaSync failed - WERR_LOGON_FAILURE // Failed to bind to uuid for ncacn_ip_tcp - NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE
Hello All, I just discovered that the last I unfortunately I send only to Louis - not the list. So below are my answers included (and log outputs that were requested). Never the less in meantime I have investigated further into SAMBA & winbind. I was able to setup samba dc based on previous instructions and guidelines successfully. I additionally setup a debian samba member with winbind.

Concurrent scanning of same disk
Greetings, I am suffering of several weird errors which show randomly and make me suspect some concurrency issue. Libguestfs version is 1.28.1, linux kernel 3.16, libvirt 1.2.9 and qemu 2.1. What I'm trying to do is comparing the disk state at two different point of a guest execution. Disk snapshots are taken through libvirt in different moments (I am aware of caching issue), from such

[PATCH net-next] vhost_net: do not stall on zerocopy depletion
From: Willem de Bruijn <willemb at google.com> Vhost-net has a hard limit on the number of zerocopy skbs in flight. When reached, transmission stalls. Stalls cause latency, as well as head-of-line blocking of other flows that do not use zerocopy. Instead of stalling, revert to copy-based transmission. Tested by sending two udp flows from guest to host, one with payload of

[PATCH] drm/virtio: Add window server support
This is to allow clients running within VMs to be able to communicate with a compositor in the host. Clients will use the communication protocol that the compositor supports, and virtio-gpu will assist with making buffers available in both sides, and copying content as needed. It is expected that a service in the guest will act as a proxy, interacting with virtio-gpu to support unmodified
