OT: trac problems
I installed trac. I installed trac-agilo-plugin. Set it up (allegedly). I've made myself an admin. But: I can search in trac for agilo, I find a quick start guide... and it tells me to click the admin button on the toolbar. I don't see any. If I click the admin in the upper right, I get a file not found! I also note that the trac-agilo-plugin installs, among many other files,

Can''t create new ticket on Trac
When I try to submit a ticket using http://dev.rubyonrails.org/newticket, I get the following: Oops... *Trac detected an internal error:* If you think this really should work and you can reproduce it. Then you should consider to report this problem to the Trac team. Go to http://trac.edgewall.com/ and create a new ticket where you describe the problem, how to reproduce it. Don''t forget

Hi Anyone know the state of the Rails trac? It looked like it was working again just, but I tried to post a ticket and got this: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/local/lib/python2.4/site-packages/trac/web/main.py", line 314, in dispatch_request dispatcher.dispatch(req) File "/usr/local/lib/python2.4/site-packages/trac/web/main.py", line 199, in

trac, agilo plugin, rpm, aughghgh!!!
CentOS 6.5, with the current trac, and trac-agilo-plugin. I seem to have problems, and maybe even a bug in the packaging. I installed and got trac running with authentication. Fine. I installed and enabled the agilo plugin. Supposedly fine. Except it doesn't work. On the trac web pages, in the upper right, there's a text link labelled "admin"... but when I mouse over it, what

Trac registration error
Hello, While trying to register an account on trac.xapian.org, I received the following error: " Trac detected an internal error: NameError: global name 'niceblacklist' is not defined There was an internal error in Trac. It is recommended that you notify your local Trac administrator with the information needed to reproduce the issue." How do I report a bug with the

Please help: Test documentation in Trac
Hi all, Peter Abrahamsen has been working assiduously to get all of the Puppet documentation into Trac''s wiki. He''s now complete, and I would appreciate it if people could click around the wiki a bit and see if everything looks okay. The docs start here: https://reductivelabs.com/cgi-bin/puppet.cgi/wiki/DocumentationStart I''m also working on switching to using

Anonymous trac access restrictions
It seems trac is being hit by a high level of automated crawling, to the extent that use by humans is often slow or entirely unresponsive. To address this, I've removed the permissions from anonymous access which are the ones which cause it to fetch data from git (or at least those I think do). All the data should still be available anonymously, it's just not all available anonymously

Trac not for general use?
Hi devs, I was trying to open a new ticket with a minor doc patch at the BackgroundDrb Trac (http://backgroundrb.devjavu.com/) and it seems like only admins have permission to do so. Is this intended? I read in the readme that patches should be mailed to this list, but I much prefer to use Trac since there''s already one set up. Any reason Trac is not open to registered Devjavu users?

polling Buildbot and Trac
Please respect the robots.txt files on our developer websites. trac.networkupstools.org and buildbot.networkupstools.org are hosted on a small shared server, and I would appreciate it if the polling and mirroring were kept to a minimum. In particular, the SVN changes in Buildbot are only checked every 10 minutes, and Trac synchronizes even less frequently. Polling buildbot 24/7 at a sub-10-minute

Trac in mod_python
I''ve set the Trac sites up to use mod_python now (as I should have in the first place), so you can now get all trac sites at https:// reductivelabs.com/trac/$name, where $name is the project name, e.g., puppet. It should be a good bit faster now. The old locations will work indefinitely, but I''ve changed all (I hope) of the links to point to this new location. Please

Trac accounts
I''ve added an account manager plugin to Trac, so people should now be able to create and pseudo-manage their own Trac accounts. This should make it easier to submit bugs as yourself, and anyone should be able to log in and modify info on the wiki. However, trac seems to deal weirdly with credential caching, so I don''t seem to be able to log in as a test user. Please let

Trac tickets are now READ ONLY -> Please file NEW tickets under Redmine
PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT #1; There appears to be a number of people in #puppet who are not aware of the fact that we have migrated from Trac to Redmine for ticketing. If you wish to file new tickets, or have old tickets reopened, please do it via Redmine[1] and not with Trac. The Trac instance is _only_ for the Wiki now :) Regards, AJ [1] http://reductivelabs.com/redmine/

Could someone send this message to the admin of Trac ? Regards. -- Didier BRETIN http://www.bretin.net/ --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this

Dynamic Filters with AJAX (like Redmine/Trac)
Hello Guys, I have a model "Person" with lots of columns (date, int, string, so on) and right now I need to make a filter for my costumer. My goal is something like this: http://www.redmine.org/projects/redmine/issues. Or, even better: http://trac.edgewall.org/demo-0.12/query. The most interesting feature for me is to be able to choose different columns and to have customized options

Anyone using trac on centos?
(Besides Paul, who's busy?) I just need one question answered: I keep reading the docs, and given the old traditional /var/www I get that part of trac should be installed in /var/www/trac/<myproj> (I think); what I can't figure out is whether there is *anything* under the document root, that is, /var/www/html/trac/<myproject>. Anyone have a clue? Do I even need it as a
