[LLVMdev] automatic discovery of new CMake projects
Hi Óscar,
Thank you for the reply. I indeed got an impression (may be incorrect) that projects/ directory is intended for users' projects that are not committed to LLVM repository. Otherwise, of course, the patch doesn't make much sense. Anyway, I've added a comment about the need of explicit CMake invocation to projects/CMakeLists.txt.
Thanks,
Victor

[AWDwR] Confused about has_one and has_many
Heya everyone!
I am quite new to Rails and I am reading AWDwR. I am at Task E "Check
Out!". I understand it quite well, but I have a problem with the last
playground exercise: Add a Table which contains the payment types.
All goes well, but I am not sure whether I should use has_many or
has_one(as in the Playground wiki at
http://wiki.pragprog.com/cgi-bin/wiki.cgi/PT-E-3).
I use the

[Bug 58378] [NV86] Distorted graphics on NVIDIA GeForce 8400M G after upgrade the kernel to 3.7.0 version

This gets really interesting now:
Oracle public yum "playground" 3.6.11-3.6.y.20121225.ol6 (should be stock
kernel 3.6.11) does NOT show any hangs, but DOES INDEED ALREADY show the
graphics corruption issue FOR ME (although it was thought by the original
posters here that it

Hello Ilia,
hmm - you just caught me with the update five minutes after I had started the
rpmbuild with the previous version... ;-)
Unfortunately, while I could make the first patch apply to a current RHEL
kernel source with only one change (core/engine/device.c ->

[AMDGPU] AMDGPUAsmParser fails to parse several instructions
Dear Developers,
I compile a OpenCL kernel, FFT, in AMDAPP SDK v2.5 using clang 3.8 + libclc
and assembling the code with lld (The LLVM linker). The assembly code
contains the following assembly codes (and lots of other similar format
assembly) that fails to be parsed by AMDGPUAsmParser. It seems to me that
both are valid instructions after looking at the SI instruction spec.

Clang can be used like an assembler in the sense that if it's fed a .s
file, it will assemble it. (I noted that clang-cl doesn't do this for
.asm files, I should fix that.)
I'm not sure that we

@Michael Tokarev: Samba 4.17.12
Hi Michael,
thanks for the info - and your work...
As Bookworm for Raspberry isn't that far away, I can live with that.
This is "just" my playground...

* 1.2.4 & 1.2.6: "Ringing" anamoly
I was alerted the other day by of all people, my mom, that she wasn't
hearing a "ring" when she dialed my number. Puzzled, I tried calling myself.
The call connects, but there's dead silence until voicemail picks up.
Calling internally, extensions worked perfectly. So, I figured, "another
damned Broadvoice issue."
For kicks, I upgraded to 1.2.6 today, and the end

[PATCH 5/5] Create a hole in high linear address space
Allow compile time creation of a hole at the high end of linear address space.
This makes accomodating a hypervisor a much more tractable problem by giving
it ample playground to live in. Currently, the hole size is fixed at config
time; I have experimented with dynamically sized holes, and have a later
patch that developes this potential, but it becomes much more useful once

[RFC] One or many git repositories?
It is worth pointing out the Jenkins job that runs that is a playground I setup for myself. It is nowhere near production ready, and it will fail frequently as I iterate messing around with it.

C8 and KDE
Goog morning to the list,
for all users that are interested about KDE Plasma on Centos 8 you can
install KDE from epel.
All packages are get from epel-playground and epel-testing and some
packages seems need to be build.
I run "yum grouplist" and see kde workspace available. I tried to
install it, reboot my machine and running startx a KDE plasma session
was correctly launched.

Dovecot 1.0b2 now in pkgsrc packaging system
After months of testing in the "work in progress" pkgsrc-wip playground,
dovecot-1.0b2 is now in the main pkgsrc mainline and will be tracked up
through the 1.0 release and beyond.
This means it's now much easier to get Dovecot 1.0 up and running on NetBSD
and any other platform supported by pkgsrc (see www.pkgsrc.org); prior to
this, 0.99.x was the newest available. Binary
