Using single hiera hash for two create_resources, and mounting filesystems
I am trying to use the same hiera hash to create the mount point and mounts. (Would be nice if mount could create the mount points using 3.1.1) My plan was to define create_mount_points and use create_resources with the same hash, and just though away what I dont use.... maybe there is a better means? Here is the mount class: class fstab::mounts ( $config = undef ) { $defaults = {

Dir.glob does not find ".project"
Hi, I am trying to zip up my application folder using RubyZip. It works fine except for one glitch: There is a RadRails project file ".project" which does not get included. When I test Dir.glob("#{app_dir}/**/*) it does not return ".project" Is there some problem with filenames starting with "." (I am using Windows) Thanks George

Puppet 3.0.0 bugs fixed in 3.0.1
Hi, Matthaus posted a link to the RC of Puppet 3.0.1 last week[1] but it might have gotten missed over the weekend. I wanted to follow up to call out some specific fixes in the release that the early adopters ran into and reported (for which: THANK YOU!!). First, the problem with `puppet kick` not working is fixed[2]. You will still see a deprecation warning, which is intentional, but

legend over-prints barplot bar
When I create a bar plot, the legend is obscuring the rightmost bar. I haven't found a setting that appears to affect the positioning of the legend - any tips re moving the legend would be most appreciated. paul sorenson

Mount and fstab problems with large devices?
I''m trying to get a new file server managed by puppet from day 1, at least as much as possible. At the moment, though, there''s two issues I''m running into: 1. fstab should have entries for my comically-large RAID, but doesn''t. 2. each puppet run appears to remount the RAID, even when no rules in the manifest change. I suspect the issue may be in parsing
