dragdrop patch that enables dragging from and to divs with overflow:scroll
Hi all, this is a patch for 1.5_rc5 I noticed that I was not able to drag stuff out of scrolling divs. When I tried to drag it out, the draggable would remain in that div and the scrollbars would adapt to the bigger content of the div. This patch extends draggable with an option :tofront. When it is set to true, the draggable will be moved to the document body while keeping its position on the

setting position for draggables?
Hi list, how can I set the top and left CSS properties for draggable divs? When I modify the properties directly, the DIV jumps to its old position when I start to drag it. Thanks in advance! extend question
Is it possible to call the super class''s version of a function from a subclass? SuperClass = Class.create(); SuperClass.prototype = { initialize: function(){ this.varA = ''''; this.varB = ''''; } } SubClass = Class.create(); SubClass.prototype = (new SuperClass()).extend({ initialize: function(somevar) { this.somevar = somevar; }

[LLVMdev] Dynamic (JIT) type resolution
Nicholas, I guess you're trying to solve the fragile base-class problem by deferring field offset calculations until JIT compilation time? Perhaps I'm missing something, but can't you accomplish this by using external constants in the source program, to be supplied at JIT/link time? external constant i32 @obj.x.offs; external constant i32 @obj.y.offs; define

Announcing new project...
Hello All, I am (proudly?) announcing a new Ajax SlideShow project. It is part of a new bigger project starting up, still I am glad to announce you this early snapshot. Please consider taking a look at http://slideshow.webtwo.ws website The project itself - as long as the web page hosting it - it''s not as clean as it will be. I must also admit that, even if announced as release

[LLVMdev] Dynamic (JIT) type resolution
Hi everyone, I would like to implement an equivalent mechanism of function callbacks in the JIT, but for fields. Typically in Java, when you compile a method, there may be some instructions (getfield, putfield) that depend on a type which is not yet resolved. I think the best way to do this in LLVM is to add an intrinsic. The intrinsic would be only valid if we jit, and would be lowered only in

drag problem
Hi - my first post here so first of all can I say how impressed I am with this library Now to my first question - I''m simply trying to make a div draggable, here''s my test page: http://localhost:85/folio11.co.uk/js_tech_demo/scriptalicious_test.html what seems to be happening is that the first drag works fine, but on subsequent drags the div''s initial coordinates

Drag Errors anyone? Element.makePositioned
I tried to replicate the demo line for line. I even created a DB table, etc. etc. No dice. I''ve spent like 4 hours on this. I''m using rails 1.8.whatever and apache2. Basically latest everything from 2 days ago, using the newest RC in Firefox on Suse. Here is what I get: Error: Element.makePositioned is not a function Source File: http://cart/javascripts/dragdrop.js

extract elements
Dear R users, just another little question... are there other ways, I mean more easy to write, to obtain the same result I got with: data[95:length(dati[,1]), ] where data is a data frame to extract the last elements starting from a fixed position? thank you very much best regards Manuele PEsenti -- Manuele Pesenti manuele a inventati.org amicogodzilla a jabber.linux.it

[LLVMdev] Make a comparation with IR builder
Hi Justin, my class is a visitor pattern and I use accept method to go recursive in suboject in my AST. In locals I store AllocaInst pointer. void *visit(var1_init_decl_c *symbol) { llvm::Type *lType; varNames.clear(); varType = ""; symbol->var1_list->accept(*this); /* get a vector contains variable names */ symbol->spec_init->accept(*this); /* Store in

Drag Drop problem with Div using overflow:auto
There seems to be a problem with dragging an object outside a div if using overflow:auto on the div style. My problem is the same as the one described in the following thread but the responder''s "fix" did not work for me. Is there a fix for this problem? http://wrath.rubyonrails.org/pipermail/rails-spinoffs/2006-February/002599.html Regards

Drag & Scroll
When using drag and drop, the browser window will not scroll if you move the mouse off the page. This makes it very difficult, if not impossible to create certain types of web applications. I know this has been mentioned before and is on the Wish List, but it''s very frustrating. If you look at this other Javascript library called "Drag''nDrop & DHTML Library"

multiple return
Dear User, what's the correct way to obtain a multiple return from a function? for example creating the simple function: somma <- function (a, b) { c <- a+b return (a, b, c) } when I call it, it runs but returns the following output: > somma(5, 7) $a [1] 5 $b [1] 7 $c [1] 12 Warning message: return multi-argomento sono deprecati in: return(a, b, c) i.e. multi-return is

question about forward library
Dear R User, I'm a new member of this list, I'm using R language from a short time and I would like to ask you something I cannot solve... I'm using the fwdlm function from the forward library, I'm specially interested by the results of Cook's distances: I'd want to know which inputs are the cause of peacks in Cook's distances plot; because what I find in abscisas

values from a linear model
