Application Queue context that calls the extensions
Hello! I wonder what the default context that the Queue application uses to call extensions. If there is a possibility to change this into a context created by me possible? Would you like to get this load value to variables before calling the extension. tks, Eduardo -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

ExtensionState problems using Manager.conf API
This is my first attempt to write software of any sort. What I am trying to is to use a .php page to query asterisk Manager and get the ExtensionState for each particular extension. Then when it has the answer it outputs an XML file for use as the directory on a Cisco 7960 phone. What I am thinking is that when the user hits the directory button to veiw the directory that is at this URL it will

Is there something wrong with "show manager commands"?
Is it just my box, or is there something flaky in the implementation of "show manager commands"? Note: I'm using putty. About half way through this, I toggled my KVM over to the desktop and logged in to try and recreate it. The output was the same as the last two entries in this dump. bebop*CLI> show manager commands bebop*CLPing Ping bebop*CLLogoff Logoff Manager

Problem reload queue dynamical members
Guys, I have a problem. I have a queue on asterisk 1.8 that members are added dynamically via the AMI QueueAdd. When you run the CLI a "reload app_queue.so" all members who were in the queue disappear. This is a bug or some parameter that I do not know? Would have another way to do the reload queue without any risk to members who are already in it? tks Ed -------------- next part

Asterisk CPU use
Hello, working in a call center where we set up a structure in asterisk. When my voip reaches 150 calls are with bad quality. We do not transcode codec. What I realized using the top command server (CentOS) processing is too high for the asterisk. But the general processor server is down. Would any limitation of Asterisk to use more hardware resources? tks Eduardo -------------- next part

Limit Asterisk
people I have a running Asterisk 1.8.28 in great Dell server with two xeon processors and 16gb of ram and HD SAS 15k (Raid 1). This server is recording all calls (placed to record the audio in a ram disk), the entire CDR goes straight to MySQL by cdr_mysql.so. I'm not having any luck getting the ExtensionState action of the Manager API to work. The response is always success but the Status is always -1 which to me means an error. Asterisk Manager Interface, reliably monitor NewCall for an extension
Hi Everyone, I am writing an open source application that brings desktops widgets to OS X (http://sourceforge.net/projects/astrxtools4osx/), for which I am trying to get my head around the Asterisk Manager Interface. I had been using the Event: NewCallerid to detect a new call which my Asterisk server doesn't seem to send to the socket anymore, because of which I have reverted to using

Clean way to monitor status of 'sshd' remotely?
I am trying to come up with a "clean" way to check if a machine is running 'sshd' so it can be included in a NetSaint config. Currently, there is a NetSaint plugin called "check_ssh", but it simply connects to port 22, looks for the SSH version response from the daemon, and then disconnects. This results in the syslog file where "auth" messages are sent in

How can I politely disconnect? Was: Clean way to monitor status of 'sshd' remotely?
I'm having the same issue "Eddy Geez" posted about in October, 2001 - I'm looking to figure out how to politely disconnect from openssh's sshd, such that it will either not log the connection at all or will at least not log it at fatal level. I monitor the sshd daemon on all my hosts with Netsaint's check_ssh plugin every five minutes, so there are a *lot* of these log

Traffic monitor per IP
Hi, I´ve been using iptraf for real time traffic monitoring and it works fine. But I would like to know if anyone knows other package to monitor traffic per IP in real time, without requiring each IP''s MAC address as I have some terminals behind a router that hides their MAC. Cacti/MRTG works like this but not in real time. Thanks for your ideas. Regards, Edo

Monitor Zap Status
I've installed Grandstream GPX-2000 phones and have successfully enabled one of my buttons to use Asterisk BLF for an extension. I can tell when this extension is available, is being rung, or is on the line. I'd like to do the same for my Zaptel channels, to be able to see when a line is onhook, ringing or offhook. I tried the following but alas, it doesn't seem to be working:
