use of Asterisk and T100P as Nortel DSX-1?
Hi all, I've seen a couple of posts recently from people who are doing something with Asterisk and a T100P and a Nortel PBX. However it's not clear exactly what they are doing. Does anyone know if it's possible to use a T100P or T400P as a DSX-1 interface to connect to a T1/PRI CO module in a Nortel PBX? We have a Nortel Norstar Modular ICS PBX and I'd like to plug its CO

asterisk + NEC integration
I have an nec electra elite 192 with a t1 card; and am looking for suggestions as to integrating them (can't throw out the system yet!). Asterisk + NEC IPK 192 integration
I am currently attempting to get Asterisk working with our existing NEC IPK 192 system. The * box has a Wildcard X100P clone card in it and is hooked to an analog port on the NEC system. The analog port is shared between an elevator phone and a credit card machine. I have one SIP extension configured in * which the softphone on my Windows PC is registered to. With the softphone I am able to

connecting Asterisk to NEC NEAX system
hi. i connected Asterisk to an NEC NEAX system with a crossover T1 cable and the Digium TE405P using E&M wink signaling. the connection's ok. however when dialing from the NEC to the Asterisk. most of the time the Asterisk only sees the first digit of the dialed number(which is 4 digits). some time if i dialed the 4 digits very fast it might get through. seems like there's a timming

Interfacing to NEC Xen Master PBX
Hi, We are currently in the process of installing an Asterisk box between our legacy PBX (NEC Xen Master) and the Telco (Telstra). Originally the PBX was connected to the telco via 8x BRIs. Our new Asterisk box has been setup with 2 OpenVox B800P cards. Each card has the 4 ports in TE mode and 4 ports in NT mode. The NEC PBX is connected to the Asterisk boxes NT ports and the Asterisk box is

ISDN config: LBO values
Hi all, When configuring Asterisk with an ISDN card, it will at one point become necessary to select the LBO (Line Build-Out) value. This is an integer (0-7) that is determined by the length of the cable and is selected from the following table. Many of us are familiar with it: CSU (dB) DSX-1 (feet) ------------------------------- 0 0 0?133 1

NEC Univerge
hi * users, anyone out there ever come across, worked with or heard anything about NEC's Univerge SV7000 Telephony Server? Link is at http://www.univerge.nec.com/products/list/sv7000/sv7000.html I'm just wondering whether it's as flexible, programmable and configurable as Asterisk. It also looks like they've got a whole range of IP phones

Issue with incoming caller-ID to NEC SV8300 with QSIG
I'm using QSIG between an NEC SV8300 and Asterisk (after giving up with CCIS). Things work pretty well with the exception of issues on stations on the SV8300. When I call from Asterisk to a SV8300 station and I send my extension as the caller ID number, it shows up on the SV8300 as "OPERATOR". I've tried a few different TON/NPI values with no difference. If I set callerid to a

dahdi timing source multiple cards
I have a box with 12 T1s (4 Te410P cards). The PSTN provider is reporting slips and ask me to update the clock source. Question on calculating PJSIP md5 authentication with NEC
I have done additional testing and I haven't been able to figure out why it's failing. Since my original testing we now set the realm on the authentication section to match what we receive from NEC. It's of the format abc at xyz.com I have verified the md5_cred several times and it matches the user:realm:password formula 3016:insiph at something0a646666.com:3016 where username is

[RFC] NEC SX-Aurora VE backend
Hello, we’d like to propose the integration of a new backend into LLVM: NEC SX-Aurora TSUBASA Vector Engine (VE). We hope to get some feedback here and at EuroLLVM about the path and proper procedure of merging. The SX-Aurora VE is a Vector CPU on an PCI-E Accelerator card. It has 48GB memory from six HBM2 stacks, accessible with 1.2TB/s bandwidth, 8 cores with vector and scalar units, each.

NEC 1300A DVD-R writing
Hi, so I just bought a NEC 1300A, primarily, because it allows me to write DVD+ and -RW. Using DVD-R discs (and currently no options to try other media, due to shops being closed), I'm unable to write anything, using either the dvd+rwtools port, or the dvdrtools. I've exhausted all references to be found in google, which are in a language I understand, so I'm hoping the list can

HA8 cards and RED alarm

I prepare a new server - HP 360 G8- with 2 HA8 cards each of them 1 module of 4 lines. Already had with this machine an RMA on both cards as they was faulty and crashed the server. What happends is that when I connect cables on the HA8 modules (those cables are unpluged

Asterisk + NEC Electra Elite IPK Integration
Hi, I'm am currently in the process of trying to integrate an * box with an NEC Electra Elite IPK. Currently, we have 7 POTS lines coming into our building. These lines are plugged into our NEC using the appropriate analog line interface card from NEC. what is the effect of high LBO settings?
I'm working on an Asterisk system with all of it's PRI ports configured with the LBO setting at 5, like this: span=3,0,5,esf,b8zs As of yet, I am unwilling to change the LBO to 0 to where it probably should be because the system is working and I'm not sure exactly what the LBO does. I'm aware some changes were made to deal with low audio levels. Does anybody know what audio
