New game on Steam: Braid
Just so you guys know, there's a new game available on Steam that I would hope to see some development for Wine, which is this awesome puzzle game called Braid. http://braid-game.com/ It's a 2D side scroller, but it's so much more. I've played the demo on my brother's X-Box 360, but never could convince him that it was worth it to download. SO I was hoping I could stir up some

DTMF Tones During Call
Hi,
I am receiving calls via a Netjet-S card on asterisk, and I notice that
whenever I am talkimng to someone, if their voice is loud enough, sometimes
asterisk generates a DTMF Tone as they speak. that is played to me. (Caller
doesn't hear it).
Any ideas how to stop this?

Selectively overriding --cvs-exclude option
Hi,
I've come across a situation with rsync which seems like a bug. I could
not find anything listed in bugzilla so am writing to the list to see if
it's just me.
I have a situation where I would like to upload some auto-generated
files to a website. However, I don't want these files to be included in
my CVS repository so I have added them to a .cvsignore file.
To save from creating

DTMF in the middle of a call
I found this old post using a Google search for DTMF tones heard during
an Asterisk call. The calling party does not hear them, only the called
party.
We are experiencing this sporadic DTMF "beep" followed by a momentary
silence on a random number of our calls. This happens on trunk to SIP
and SIP to SIP calls, so it's not PRI related.
Since this thread is dated 2003, and the

Tab control using FXRuby
In the sample program below I have a form of 6 text fields, in a scrolling
window, followed by a row of function buttons.
Problems:
1) For data entry purposes I''d like the function buttons NOT to be entered
by pressing Tab keys, and retain their ''clickability'', but when the user
Tab''s out of the last scrolling field (postcode) to have the form scroll to

I''m not sure if this has been discussed before, but is it possible to

Currently I''m requesting the download like this:

Analog commands
Hi,
When I use the analog phone connected to Zap/1 how do I transfer & hold the
caller ?
When I hit the flash key, all that happens is the caller hears a beep
(sounds like DTMF).
But no stutter dial tone on the Zap/1 Port, just continuing conversation
with the caller.
What could be wrong here?
Cheers

prototype/script.aculo.us ecosystem
Recently errtheblog (http://errtheblog.com/) put up a nice post about
jQuery. Putting aside all the assertions about cleaner code and fewer
lines of code than with Prototype, the one thing that struck me from
his (and others'') writing and from direct inspection is this: jQuery
seems to have a more of an ecosystem surrounding it. That is, more
plugins, widgets, locked-and-loaded

DC++ 0.668 - Annoying "tooltips"
Hello there ?
There were folks in the recent time running DC++ on wine. I'm also one of
them, and I have a small problem, which turns out to be very annoying. The
action buttons at the top of the main DC++ window as well as tabs at the
bottom tend to show "tooltips" containing information about the last files
to be hashed. However, there is an error somewhere that these tooltip

IAX Bandwidth Question
Hi,
I am using IAX to communicate between 2 sites, each site is using a 256k/64k ADSL Connection.
I have noticed that when I connect my ping time to my 1st hop jumps from 30~ms to over 12,000ms in over a period of about 10 minutes, it just keeps climbing until the link is saturated.
Naturally, there is a very long delay when speaking.
What bandwidth would be adequate for IAX? or how can I

Slider: passing the slider object to onChange and onSlide?
I''m working with a couple of slider objects on one page.
I''m using onChange to do a couple of things. onChange passes the new value
of the slider, but not the slider object itself. Has anybody found a way to
get the object?
More details: A simple example would be to do the following: Put multiple
sliders on a page. Now, when a slider is moved, change it''s track

PowerPoint Producer 2003 like Slider Control?
Greetings all,
I would like to create a slider control similar to what is found in the
timeline editors of popular presentation software like Producer for PP 2003,
of Macromedia Captivate.
Here is the beginning of what I''ve done so far:

Ultimately, I''d like to make it more like that screenshot of
