virt-v2v - Unable to authenticate to vCenter as DOMAIN\user
Hi, I am encountering an issue with virt-v2v where I need to authenticate to the vCenter as DOMAIN\user. I have tried the following with the resulting errors: 1. 'virt-v2v -v -x -ic 'vpx://vcenter/Datacenter/cluster_name/esx_server?no_verify=1' vm_name -o local -of raw -os /tmp' - prompted for username password - entered 'DOMAIN\User' as username - successfully

[PATCH 2/2] configure: output paths where java is searched in
Output each path where we attempt to find 'java', so it is easier to spot whether the location for the current OS is missing. This also removes the need to print the location next to the version, since the location was already printed above. --- m4/guestfs_java.m4 | 6 +++++- 1 file changed, 5 insertions(+), 1 deletion(-) diff --git a/m4/guestfs_java.m4 b/m4/guestfs_java.m4 index

Corosync on a home network
I've been trying to build a model cluster using three virtual machines on my home server. Each VM boots off its own dedicated partition (CentOS 7.3). One partition is designated to be the common /home partition for the VMs, (on the real machine it will mount as /cluster). I'm intending to run GFS2 on the shared partition, so I need to configure DLM and corosync. That's where I'm

Java module woes
Hi everyone, Just getting into Puppet, so please bear with me :D I''m setting up a java module to keep an eye on the java installation on our RHEL machines. Quick background, RHEL ships openjdk, we need to use Oracle instead. I''ve gone ahead and put the latest oracle java6 RPM, * jre-6u45-linux-amd64*, on one of our puppet-managed boxes. Like many distributions, RHEL has a

source /etc/profile
Hello , There is a way to source /etc/profile inside puppet on demand? My problem is that I install Java, afterwards I set JAVA_HOME variable in /etc/profile. After Java is installed, a gem which depends on Java starts to install ... but as it needs JAVA_HOME environment to be set, it fails. I am not sure what can I do ... Possible solution for Mozilla/help.start() search problems
I thought that I would post a follow up given the several posts on this same subject in the past week. All R comments pertain to 1.6.1. Earlier in the week using a development build of Mozilla under RH 8.0, I was able to get the help.start() based search engine to work with both Java and JavaScript enabled. This was using what I believed to be the V1.2b branch of Mozilla, in which both Xft

Wierd asterisk-perl compilation problem
I am running a fully updated Fedora Core 3 server, and installed a pretty thin system, and have just installed packages as needed. My problem is that I am trying to get asterisk-perl installed, but it keeps segmentation faulting on me. I know a little python but perl baffles me. # perl Makefile.PL Segmentation fault ==========Strace============

Remove directory
Here''s one for you! We''re rolling out some zip files to our servers using Puppet, there''s an exec that unzips them, the zip file is then deleted. I need to remove the old versions of the unzipped directory using Puppet when we rol out a newer version. So, on my client/node machine I have the below directories. /opt/1234 /opt/12345 /opt/123456 What I need to do, is

Using Facter to find the Java version running on the machine
Hello all, I am currently trying to setup a Custom Fact that will can be used to determine the version of the Java JRE running on a machine, in order to use it in my manifests to ensure the proper JARS are distribured based on environment. I''m trying to use the java -version command and then capture the JRE release (eg "1.6.0_37"). No matter what I have tried, the output

[PATCH] configure: Move language binding detection to separate files.
This commit starts to split our massive, monolithic configure.ac file into smaller files, using the m4_include mechanism to combine them. I don't know if we should really do this, so I'm open to comments about it. However: - Our configure.ac script is 1800+ lines long, and that's pretty long. - configure.ac lacks structure; splitting it up might improve that. - From what I read,

[PATCH v3 3/7] drm/gem: Use struct dma_buf_map in GEM vmap ops and convert GEM backends
This patch replaces the vmap/vunmap's use of raw pointers in GEM object functions with instances of struct dma_buf_map. GEM backends are converted as well. For most GEM backends, this simply change the returned type. GEM VRAM helpers are also updated to indicate whether the returned framebuffer address is in system or I/O memory.
