Vignette problem and CRAN policies
Hello, All:
The vignette with the sos package used "upquote.sty", required for R
Journal when it was published in 2009. Current CRAN policy disallows
"upquote.sty", and I've so far not found a way to pass "R CMD check"
with sos without upquote.sty.
I changed sos.Rnw per an email exchange with Prof. Ripley without
solving the problem; see below. The

[PATCH 1/6] Documentation: crypto: document crypto engine API
Hi Corentin,
Thank you for this new version which I have testes successfully with the
stm32 hash & cryp drivers.
As a general comment on this patchset, I would say that it does not
cover all async requests: typically I need (for the pending stm32 cryp
driver uprade) to use CryptoEngine to process AEAD requests which is not
covered here.
Could you please consider adding the

Re: [PATCH] gobject: Add Vala binding support
Thanks for the quick review, I addressed the comments but couldn't run
`make dist` because of some issue with `libguestfs.pot` while building.
So please review it carefully (even if I followed the recommended steps
to include Vala support as written here
https://wiki.gnome.org/Projects/Vala/UpstreamGuide#Autotools_Integration
)

problem with rjags installation in ubuntu 14.04
Hello folks
Earlier versions of jags and rjags installed on my system without any
difficulty, but I'm having trouble with jags version
4.3.0-1ubuntu2~ubuntu14.04.1~ppa1 (from Michael Rutter's R ppa) and
rjags version 4.6.
The call to install.packages() I always used successfully now produces
the error "cannot link to JAGS library in /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu."?

FW: CRAN check errors: drake 4.1.0 on r-devel-linux-x86_64-debian-clang
Hello,
The CRAN checks for the drake package (4.1.0) fail for r-devel-linux-x86_64-debian-clang. This happened right when crayon 1.3.4 was released, but I suspect the problem is not with crayon or drake, but with base R-devel. I cannot reproduce the error myself, but I have copied a minimal working example (MWE) below that should theoretically isolate the problem.

Hello all,
I'm coding (trying to code should be better) a soft in python to analyze
video. (scene change, edge, line, motion) and i want to use ogg file. So i

To analyze the video i need an acces to the video data (the array of pixel)
and i'm wondering if i can acces it directly, i mean by my own or do i
really need to use the decode process to get an array of RGB
