build postfix rpm with mysql
hello list, I'm trying to build a postfix rpm that has mysql support included. I've found the line where I need to define mysql support but it seems that I am being tripped up by some build dependencies: [root at beta SPECS]# rpmbuild -ba postfix.spec error: Failed build dependencies: MySQL-shared is needed by postfix-2.9.1-1.rhel5.x86_64 MySQL-devel is needed by

RFC: First pass at making the node generic...
I'm looking for feedback on this first patch. The node has been pushed towards a more generic boot process. With this patch the node can now boot up and execute a few specifically-named scripts that reside in /etc/node.d/ at key points during the startup. After this goes upstream, the next step will be to define in more detail the remote interfaces for the "managed" runtime

Another round of testing calls.
Outside the known 'Hang-on-exit' bug and the Solaris 'PAM_TTY_KLUDGE' required. *WHAT* other issues *MUST* be address before 3.0 which is approaching fast? Those running NeXTStep I need conformation that it works under NeXT. My current Slab is packed in a storage unit due to a fire in my apartment complex (happened above me so I'm wrapping up dealing with that crap =). -

another yum question
Hello centos community, I have a personal repository with self-made RPMs, and i need to include this repository to yum.conf. But i've noticed that yum configuration is overwritten when yum is updated. I can't update yum.conf manually on my servers each time yum is updated ... Is anyone have an idea ? Thank you. -- Martin

PATCH: nroff detection wrong, by default uses mantype=cat
Hi, Just tested the latest snapshot on RHL72 via building RPM's of it. Nroff detection was wrong, and if no --with-mantype was specified, the type would always revert to cat. This one-byter fixes it. -- Pekka Savola "Tell me of difficulties surmounted, Netcore Oy not those you stumble over and fall" Systems. Networks. Security. -- Robert

Refactor ovirt-node code base for inclusion in Fedora
Main reason for refactor is no ovirt-node-image binary image allowed in fedora. Moves tools and kickstart files form ovirt-node-image to subpackage ovirt-node-recipe. Removes old sub packages form ovirt-node, stateless, logos, selinux. Modifies init scripts to meet Fedora packaging guidelines: added status, reload, and lockfile, rhbz: 514221 Added License file.

New rpms for lockdir problem
I just built new puppet rpm''s for Fedora (puppet-0.22.1-2) that fix the lockdir problem that many of you have encountered. The packages should show up on a mirror near you very soon. Unfortunately, I am having trouble getting to my buildsystem that I use for the RHEL versions of the RPM; I made the source rpm available on my people page[1] If you need the RPM for RHEL, you need to

[patch 0/6] Various cleanups
Hi Andi, Here's a little batch of cleanups: - re-enable VDSO when PARAVIRT is enabled - make the parainstructions symbols match the other altinstructions naming convention - add kernel command-line options to disable altinstructions for smp and pv_ops Oh, and I'm mailing your noreplacement patch back at you, for no particularly good reason.
