What I want to ask you is: - What do you think about it? - Did you find it useful? - Do you have any advices? Ultrabook for CentOS?
Hello, I need to buy an ultrabook. Any recommendations for something that would work out of the box more or less? I do not want a Chromebook (or anything ARM) or one of these new "touch" laptops, in fact I'm after a nice matte screen. Budget is modest-ish (?500/$800) so dont go crazy. :) Thanks! -- Sent from the Delta quadrant using Borg technology! Nux! www.nux.ro

Drive Failing
I got an email from smartd yesterday with the following error: SMART Health Status: SERVO IMPENDING FAILURE SEEK ERROR RATE TOO HIGH [asc=5d,ascq=43] I understand this means the drive is probably going to fail. This device is /dev/sda and is part of /dev/mapper/VolGroup00-LogVol00 Is it possible to replace the single failing drive and if so, what would be the steps so that data isn't lost.

Ubuntu + Wine = Can't See My WoW :(
Hello all, I've been struggling for a while now to get World of Warcraft running under wine, and there's lots of helpful information out there, but nothing seems to address the particular problem that I am having. VCPUOP_set_periodic_timer
Hi all, I need a periodic timer running at ideally at 125 microseconds and at least 500 microseconds. I''ve just found the VCPUOP_set_periodic_timer, however there is a comment saying "periods less than one millisecond may not be supported". I will be running on an x64 machine. Is this supported? If not, is there any alternate means of generating a fast interrupt? Regards.
