Hi, I have cross-compiled just the basic samba 4.0.6 using bitbake recipe for ARM, which succeeded. However the resulting binaries are large in size. I used the exact same configuration options in both the cases. yes I think that is correct. I wrote a simple program to print if sizeof(uintptr_t) != sizeof(unsigned char *) and when I compile with gcc -m64 and execute it on a 64-bit host (that is different from the 32-bit laptop on which I originally compiled the program), it says the sizes are not equal. Hi Silky, If I got correctly, you seem to be trying to run a bare-metal image on your model, but you compile with linux-gnueabi GCC. I don't know if that will make a difference, but I'd try to use none-eabi GCC toolchain and set the -target armv7a-none-eabi just in case.
