samba4 password sync howto?
hi: we have some service which store local password. and we want to sync samba4 (4.0.5) passwords to them. when we use windows server before, we can use ssod and write our own program to do that. at first I think it should be easy with settings like below: unix password sync = yes passwd program = /share/bin/samba_passwd_sync.pl %u passwd chat = *new*password* %n\n

Smaller version does not work goes because of RHEL4. BrightStore servers r9 and Linux Client r11.5 are not compatible unfortunately. I must now decide everything with the version Share to work to get. Or the operating

I saw I can do it via "samba-tool computer". but I want to try if there is a simpler method, so I issue the command: ./samba-tool user addunixattrs 'machine$' 9999 and result: You are setting a Unix/RFC2307 UID & GID. You may want to set 'idmap_ldb:use rfc2307 = Yes' in smb.conf to use the attributes for

Dear R Development Team, I compile R-1.9.1 on AIX 5.2 under 2.9-aix51-020209, and xlf 7.1. In order to let R compile successfully under gcc 2.9, I have to change one C statement of file(RHOME//src/modules/X11/devX11.c) line 1768 from "retrun FALSE" to "retrun NULL", following is C code snapshot: newX11Desc * Rf_allocNewX11DeviceDesc(double ps) { newX11Desc *xd;
