Unable to install Puppet Modules
Hi Puppet Users -
Currently attempting to install puppet modules on a Security Onion virtual
machine. Security Onion is based on Ubuntu 12.04.
Puppet was installed using the puppetlabs-release-precise.deb file found on
apt.puppetlabs.com.
Attempting to install a module results in the following error -
user@user-virtual-machine:~$ sudo puppet module install puppet/stdlib

Hello,
What would you think of moving database, database_grant and database_user
types and providers from puppetlabs-mysql to its own module
(puppetlabs-dbproviders for example) so that we can develop providers for
others RDBMS ?
I''d like to develop providers for postgresql, so I think it makes sense to
put this types/providers in its own module.

Hello all,
I have some questions about the download puppet modules from puppetforge:
