h323 help
We've configured ooh323 on our 1.4.6 asterisk server. We've looked at various sites for tips, most recently http://www.tek-tips.com/viewthread.cfm?qid=1243330&page=3. The module seems to load properly. When we do a tcpdump, we see traffic flowing between the asterisk server and the Avaya communication manager. However, we're not geting phone calls connect. Since we do not manage

smbclient & NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE
I'm running smbclient 3.0.14a-Debian. I'm trying to view shares on a Windows server on a Active Directory domain: $ smbclient //fileserver/ Password: session setup failed: NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE I'm pretty sure the username and password is correct since it works when I use a Windows client to connect to the fileserver. What does the NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE mean in this

Desktop link for NTFS .htm file type asks for run or display in CentOS 4.4
I created a desktop launcher whose type was a link and pointed to an NTFS file on a read-only ( ro ) partition. When I open the launcher it always asks me whether I want to display or run the file. Of course I want display it and when I click on that button it displays it in my browser, Firefox, correctly. It is neverthless onerous to constantly be asked and have to then click the correct

When I was initially testing dovecot 1.1b2,3 I had ACLs turned on and encountered this problem below. I had them turned off until now, I'll need to have ACLs working before I can widen testing. I'm not sure how to make "env MAIL=maildir:~/Maildir gdb /tmp/imap" load the ACL plugin so I assume that is why it does not crash; not getting any log either from that, maybe I made a

RSA question
This may be a FAQ, but wouldn't SSH be more secure if the user can only log in if the server has the client's ssh_host_key.pub in its ssh_known_hosts file AND the user has his identity.pub from his client computer in the authorized_keys on the server? This would require two keys to be able to log in. I thought this was ssh would work with the following sshd_config file: --- BEGIN FILE

server response slow...
after we switched to the WAN wins server. The samba server is still local, but in order for us to see the rest of the WAN, we had to switch from the samba wins server to the WAN wins server. The thing is, it seems to be slow only for Win98 clients. WinNT seems to perform without problems. The specific app is VC++ trying to read files off the server. When you click on a file to open, it waits
