Re: Re: XAPI on debian - sr-create issue
You''re right scout the last line. Out looks like xapi is waiting on tapdisk to plug a key into xenstore. Perhaps a udev rule problem? Perhaps someone who knows more about tapdisk than I well be able to diagnose this tomorrow.

[XCP] recompiling xapi rpm changes version and licensing details.
Hi there. I needed to recompile xapi to fix a bug that was resolved regarding vdi-create not setting the sharable flag. I used the sources provided in the source-1.iso from xen.org. Everything is good in this regard, and creating a vdi that has "sharable=true" is possible, but I had a problem that forced me to revert to the older copy of the xapi binary because my XCP box was now being

In Debian, /etc/default/xen is there to select xm vs xl. So we could do:

[Project Kronos] XAPI on Debian
Hi All,
I tried again with XAPI on Debian last night and this time things went far
smoother... I managed to boot into the Xen kernel, xe is working and the
XAPI daemon appears to be running. However, I am having trouble connecting
to XAPI from XenCenter... it just says the connection was refused without
any meaningful errors and nothing in the logs on either side.
I can ping the Xen machine from

Rpad
I've just compiled and installed Rpad from the sources under *nix
(freeBSD 6.1) and R 2.4.0, and followed the suggested procedure to
setup an Rpad server step by step.
Now when I try to execute whatever
.Rpad example file the IE browser hangs endlessly with a "loading page"
pop-up and the following errors show up at the end of the html page:

Installing XCP from USB thumb drive
Has anyone experimented with installing XCP from a USB thumb drive? Is it possible? How was the installation media installed to the USB thumb drive (e.g., dd)?

Why Struts2 use dojo instead of Scriptaculous?
Hi,
I''m using prototype/Scriptaculous in my open source project JSControlsTags
http://jscontrolstags.sourceforge.net/
I''m Struts user and in the new version Struts2, the framework integrate AJAX
with dojo
and not with Prototype/Scriptaculous. I asked in the Struts forum, why
Struts2 integrate
by default dojo and not scriptaculous.
Here Struts answer :

Use the OpenSSH 3.6 uidswap.c for building 3.7 under IRIX
[resending with uidswap.c instead of uidwrap.c]
Once I got past the missing inet_ntoa.h weirdness, I ran into an sshd
that died a lot. It appears that IRIX doesn't like some of the extra
checks added between 1.23 and 1.24 of uidswap.c. Not sure if that
constitutes an IRIX bug or not, but helpfully this helps someone.

I used what was in the Git at:

The clone was made about a month ago, and it would be hard for me to
tell when exactly. Adding
