can't hear anything at incoming calls
Hi out there, I think i've everything set up properly, outbound calls are working fine, but at incoming calls I can't hear anything, but the other one is able to hear me perfectly. I'm using an asterisk 1.6.1.10 in my internal network in a NAT, connected to my sip-provider using a trunk. Firewall settings on the router are: forward UDP port 5060,5004,10000-20000 to asterisk server

Binding ssh to priviledged port breaks rule (port < 1024 => system service)
I'm sure there is a rationale for binding the ssh client to a priviledged port. (Which?) However there are several drawbacks to this: o It breaks firewall rules that assume that user connections start at port > 1024 or > 32768. o It breaks monitoring software using the same assumptions. o Every suid program is a separate evil (caused by the flawed security model in most unices). Flags in public folders disappear when more than 25 flags are used
Hello, I have been using flags in public folders for quite a while with no problems. Once the flags were added to all clients (Thunderbird), they were visible and synchronized properly. Now I have added some new flags, and in the dovecot-keywords files I see that I am now using more than 25 flags (in which case they are not stored using an additional letter in the filename). Now I see that

[PATCH] drm/gem: Expose the buffer object handle to userspace last

This allowing of working against a partially constructed object, which may also be in the process of having its creation fail, can have a range of negative outcomes. Samba4 and user auth
Hi all I am trying to set up an email Server with a Samba4 AD as user Directory. Does anybody know a good how-to to setup user auth against AD ? Or could anyone tell me how to do it? I am having an email Server up and running with openldap but want to change to Samba4 AD, because of the openchange Integration. I would appreciate any help on this topic. -- Mit freundlichem Gru? disable imap for ldap user
hi there, I have a LDAP dir with an attribute set to 0 or 1 and in my old setup (a courier server) I used this attribute to map it to an authoption called disableimap. This prevent users to access the mailbox with imap protocol. So the question is what should I set in dovecot to get the same behaviour? I looked at the docs but the part with the pass_ilter and service doesn't really

scp -L option
Hi there, I have a need to have scp pass the -P option to ssh to "bypass" the packetfilters that doesn't allow connections to return to arbitary "priviledged" ports, ie. ports <1024. See attached context sensitive diffs against 2.2.0p1 to please integrate. Thanx Hendrik Visage -------------- next part -------------- *** 1.1 2000/10/11 13:31:45 --- scp.c 2000/10/11

Setting PS1 for ordinary users
CentOS-6 When I login as root I see this prompt: [root at vhost04 ~]# When I login as a non-priviledged user I see this instead: sh-4.1$ .bashrc and .bash_profile have identical contents in /root and /home/user. What causes the difference? Why? How does one change the default so that all normal users get a [userid at hostname pwd]$ prompt? I have loked in/etc/profile.d and /etc/bashrc
