[fdo] Lots of wiki content rewritten
Hi, To try to bring our wiki 'up to date' (as in, no longer talking about CVS), I've gone through and rewritten a lot of the wiki content for our main landing pages: our front page, the software and specifications pages, the infrastructure pages, and even (to an extent) the mission statement. A lot of this is trying to describe how we've interpreted these things over the past ten

Ogg & Ogg Vorbis _unofficial_ logos page.
Hi all, I've just set up a web page with my functional, yet very ugly and _very unofficial_ set of logos for Ogg, Ogg Vorbis and family. http://www.marevalo.net/OggLogos They have been desinged with the classic CD and DVD corporate logos in mind. If someone has any problem with them or the web page please contact me. Miguel A. Arévalo marevalo@marevalo.net Miguel A. Arévalo wrote: >

[PATCH] Update the 5 year logo to 10 year logo
Already outdated, but rounded ;) I literally just opened the 5yrs logo, changed the text and then done: inkscape -z -o logo/fish-10yrs.{png,svg} cp {logo,website}/fish-10yrs.svg and then updated the rest of the files. Re: [advocacy] Ogg & Ogg Vorbis _unofficial_ logos page.
Done, anybody can send me his logo and I promise to publish it on my page without any previous censorship. Thanks. P.S. I used OpenOffice Draw because Sodipodi does no yet support grids which I need badly for my designs (I have some AutoCAD backgroup and I am a very technical guy, apart from that I love Sodipodi and in fact the SVG on my site has been retouched with it). By the way I

Re: win.metafiles in linux and R
I posted a similar query some months ago. Some people answered stating that win.metafiles were not available for R in linux. However, I was suggested to use the package RSvgDevice, which allows transforming any graphic device into Scalable Vector Graphics format, this file can then be opened with sodipodi, and really impresive stuff can be achieved. I also noticed that OpenOffice for linux has an

RSvgDevice incomplete svg output
Hi I use RSvgDevice to output plot, and modify them using svg editor (inkscape or sodipodi on Linux). Some month ago, results were perfect. I did exactly the same analysis today on the same data, and unfortunatly the results are different. While looking to the svg file, it seems that all information concerning "fill" and "stroke" of objects are lost. The consequence is that

input transformations
I spent some time this week trying to add support for input transformations to the server. I tried a few different approaches. The patches I've attached are what's currently working best for me. In this approach I allow every window to have it's own root window coordinate space. A window's root window coordinate space is affected by all it's ancestors. Composite clients can

Exporting R graphs (review)
Hi guys, Yesterday I posted my first couple of questions (see bottom of this message) to this forum and I would like to thank you guys for all the useful feedback I got. I just would like to make some comments: 1. Exporting R graphs as vector graphics: The best answer came from Thomas Lumley <tlumley at u.washington.edu> He suggested using the RSvgDevice package. As far as I know SVG

Poblem with Centos Logos on X bootup...conversion from whitebox to centos.
Hello all I migrated my Centos installation from a whitebox install few months ago. Only one minor issue...on booting up X, the login screen shows whitebox logos. At that time, I did not tackle it because I assumed that it will automatically be upgraded with yum...and again it was not essential to running the OS. What whitebox rpms do I need to substitute with centos ones to correct this
