Freeze when swithing vt
Hello. I am running 0.3.6 compiz under Fedora Core 6 and nvidia 1.0-9631 binary driver. I have noticed that switching to console with ctrl-alt-f1 and then back to x with ctrl-alt-f7 locks up the system with a black screen more or less (sometimes the lockup is complete, sometimes the cursor moves and it is possible to switch back to console), A user on nvnews forums suggest that disabling sync to

Hello, I have a Mac Mini model "late 2009" running a Debian Testing/Squeeze and I have some difficulties with the nouveau driver. I don't know if my video card (Nvidia GeForce 9400M) is supported or not by the nouveau driver ? I have the dreaded black screen with the message in my syslog: "TMDS table revision 2.0 not currently supported". So it seems that my video card

[LLVMdev] Why total number of store instructions increased in case of gvn with reg2mem?
Below are the 4 cases out of which for the first 3 cases am able to understand the variation on total number of store inst. But when -gvn parameters is passed (in case 4) , why does the total number of strore Instruction present on the attached file increases (instead of decrease). Please explain considering that use of -reg2mem pass is mandatory. eg. clang -emit-llvm bzip.c -c -o bzip1.bc

[LLVMdev] Why total number of store instructions increased in case of gvn with reg2mem?
Might have to do with GVN's PRE (partial redundancy elimination), which tends to increase code size. lzma and bzip compressed kernels, initrds and images
hpa, will there be support for lzma and bzip compressed kernels, initrds and images in one of the following releases of syslinux? I saw that you want lzma and bzip2 compression included in the kernel: http://groups.google.com/group/linux.kernel/browse_thread/thread/f415aa765c09c9f7/dae008992e14840f?lnk=raot&pli=1 Gert Hulselmans

Random freezes when using compiz
Hello. Today I have experienced a strange freeze. I was writing an email when suddenly the system stopped responding. The cursor was still blinking and it was possible to move the mouse, but the system was not responding. no ctrl-alt-fx or killing X. I am running compiz 0.3.6 under Fedora Core 6 and nvidia 1.0-9631 driver. Cheers.

latest git problems
I have just grabbed latest git source (22:29) and compiled it, and have noticed that although gtk-window-decorator is active, compiz behaves like it weren't - no window decoration. I've recreated my config but it did not help. P.S. freedesktop, not freedektop.

Two issues
Hi. I have just installed latest git vanilla compiz under fedora core 6 and I have run into two problems: 1. Metacity theme support does not work. As soon as I type in gconftool-2 -s /apps/gwd/use_metacity_theme -t bool true the window border disappears. I have tried it both under KDE and Gnome with the same result. the window border can be brought back by setting the above value back to false. 2.
