[PATCH] drm/gem: Expose the buffer object handle to userspace last
From: Tvrtko Ursulin <tvrtko.ursulin at intel.com>
Currently drm_gem_handle_create_tail exposes the handle to userspace
before the buffer object constructions is complete. This allowing
of working against a partially constructed object, which may also be in
the process of having its creation fail, can have a range of negative
outcomes.
A lot of those will depend on what the individual

User-defined functions in rpart
This question concerns rpart's facility for user-defined functions that
accomplish splitting.
I was interested in modifying the code so that in each terminal node,
a linear regression is fit to the data.
It seems that from the allowable inputs in the user-defined functions,
that this may not be possible, since they have the form:
function(y, wt, parms) (in the case of the

Melbourne Asterisk Users meet next Thursday
Hi all,
If you're in Melbourne Australia and interested in Asterisk, you're
invited to join us for a casual evening to talk about Asterisk, VOIP,
networks, and just generally get geeky about IP phone stuff.
Ultimately, I think it would be interesting and useful to turn this
into a monthly get-together, so I'd like to talk about that too.
Anyone with an interest is welcome; from

Ok, and these 2 ipadresses, are these on one or 2 interfaces. ?
(and keep cc-ing the samba list, this might also help others). ;-)

Get this script and run it:

Anonymize data if needed and post the content to the list, not as attachment thats filtered out.
That will give me most info i

Question Use of a domain control with windows XP prof
Dear,
I have a question
I am new to Samba but I want to create a windows domain controler in
Samba.
It works fine in combination with windows 2000 server and windows 2000
professional.
I could join the domain and log on to the domain in combination with the
windows 2000 cleints
We have here also a couple of Windows XP prof and couldn't not log on
to the samba domain controler.

Broadcom NetXtreme bcm5720 in the 9.1 beta
Team
I have a Dell PowerEdge R720xd, with the Broadcom NetXtreme bcm5720. I
found the following thread:
http://forums.freebsd.org/showthread.php?t=31769
I find I am unable to use the NIC's (there are 4 on the server). When we
put a cable into it we get a "watchdog timeout -- resetting" error, and
the machine will pause for 5 or so seconds. IP may or may not come up
randomly.

[cfe-dev] [RFC] Open sourcing and contributing TAPI back to the LLVM community
That sounds great to me, thanks Jake. I'm not Jurgen either, of course,
but I'm happy to assist you if he is unavailable. I'm not also not
qualified to audit the license, but do note Apple formally also released
some code at https://opensource.apple.com/tarballs/tapi/. If there's
anything else I can do to help, let me know.
Cheers,
John

Zap channels in AU hanging up on STD pips
Is anyone having/had a problem with a TDM400P card hanging up on STD
outbound calls as soon as the called party answers.
I'm guessing that * is responding to the STD pips in some way.

Grandstream Budgetone BT-101 audio problems
Hi all,
I'm having a really frustrating time with a bunch of BT-101 phones.
They've been trouble-free and working very well for the past several
months. A couple of days ago, some of the phones (but not all of them,
yet) have started acting very strangely. All phones are running
firmware 1.0.6.7, and are identically configured (except for the
user/authenticate/password things) on both the

Am I attempting the impossible?
Hi all,
After Googling around a while, I've found bits and pieces of my
puzzle, but never someone who's got the whole thing. Here's what I'm
trying:
- Run MS Access 97 and MYOB
- Under FreeBSD 5.3
- With multiple simultaneous users (X Terminals)
Access 97 and MYOB are the only Windows programs we'll need to run,
everything else will be done with "native"
