Reloader paths/
after investigating why the reloader wasnt working , i discovered 2 probs, one of which was sorta my fault (but will likely happen to others who make one-file apps)
first, my app was like this:
#!/usr/bn/env ruby
%w{applib1 applib2 digest/md80 airbus}.each{|r| require r}}
if __FILE__ == $0
Mongrel.config do
handler ''/'', Camping.reloader.new(__FILE__)

Verify tomcat config
I'm going to retire an old RHEL3 server and move the services to CentOS5.
In particular, the web server is giving me a headache. On the old box, there's
a hacked-up httpd/mod_jk/tomcat setup, and CentOS is perfect for the new
box because the required components are included and the whole setup "just
works" straight from installation.
There seems to be surprisingly little

Expected ... to define
I found several topics that covered a similar error with controllers,
but mine is with a model, and none of the fixes previously mentioned
seemed to apply.
Here is the error:

LoadError (Expected model.rb to define Model)
Hello,
I''m having an error that occurs in production (on Dreamhost) but does
not occur in development on my local machine. The situation is that
there is a model (Article), and it uses act_as_ferret for search. The
error is as follows (where I say {full server path}, that''s not what
the error says, just my note):

autoloading LoadError: Expected known_ip.rb to define KnownIp
Hello, i have a problem with autoloading model classes.
I have had similar problems before when a file''s name in Rails'' opinion
did not match with the name of the class defined inside, but eventually
everything worked, so i didn''t look into details.
This time the problem comes from running Unit Tests and does not want to
go away.
I have a model class KnownIP defined in

base.rb defines base like:

Problem w/ routes.rb
I am trying to develop a new webapp using Rails 1.2.1. I am installing
it onto a production web server running Apache w/ fastcgi. The server
already has some older webapps running on it using an older version of
Rails. The apps are not installed in the document root; they each have
their own subdirectory which is a symlink for the apache document root
to the "public" directory of each
