KDE window decorator
I've added a working KDE window decorator (kwd) to head. It's pretty much written from scratch however it borrows some trivial code from aquamarine which I didn't feel re-implementing. So why did I write a new one from scratch instead of improving aquamarine? I started out by trying to improve aquamarine but as I looked at the code and figured out what had to change to make it work

[BUGS] Kde window decorator
Thanks to last david modifications (fixing an important bug for me), i just jump to kde decorator. But i always have two bugs: 1) I've got some artefacts with wobbly windows at window/decoration junction. Better visibility of this bug with polyester theme and unified decorator/window color like on this screenshot: http://hibbert.univ-lille3.fr/~cbellegarde/kde.png This doesn't happen

Kde decorator not building
Kde decorator Makefiles doesn't detects kde installation dirs (include dir here, /usr/include/kde on debian). By the past, kde-config --cflags && kde-config --libs was a way to have such informations but don't seems to be working anymore :( Cedric

You can post bugs to the beryl bugtracker at http://bugs.beryl-project.org . Please

gnome-window-decorator -> gtk-window-decorator and some restructuring
The current name of gnome-window-decorator is wrong. There's nothing gnome specific in that code. I'll go a head and change the name to gtk-window-decorator later today. I'm also going to split the gnome configure option into a gtk and a gnome option as the only gnome specific code that exist in the tree is the compiz-window-manager module which is used to integrate with the gnome

What about splitting the gtk-window-decorator ?!
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Yesterday I sent a patch (http://paste.ubuntu-nl.org/24252/) against the latest compiz ubuntu gutsy source package to Amaranth, to make compiz compile (and package, of course) the gtk-window-decorator in two ways: 1) as gtk-window-decorator (= compiz-gtk package) using these configuration parameters: --disable-gnome \

Howto compile the kde decorator?
Hello, I own a NVidia GF488Go and therefor I tried to give aiglx+compiz a try, and it seems to work great - impressive :-) However the problem I experience is that I am unable to compile any of the "window decorators". I installed kde-devel libs + dependencies, gtk+-devel dependencies - however I don't have gnome nore gnome-develop packages installed and I build with gconf

Same happens sometimes with left part of decoration and sometimes with header. It appears randomly.

gtk-window-decorator Wnck warnings
Hi, I'm getting a lot of warnings like this one: (gtk-window-decorator:8442): Wnck-WARNING **: Unhandled action type (nil) Does anyone else see these warnings or know what causes these? Also, it seems that this "lost textures" bug https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10789 usually happens only when these warnings are spitted out, so the bug is probably related to these
