Intel Boot Agent: PXE-E32: TFTP open timeout for correctly configured tftp-hpa
Hello. In my case I can successfully boot up my Thinkpad X32, but the same configuration doesn't work for my desktop computer with Intel network card, with Intel Boot Agent 2.2 DHCP server is 10.0.0.1, tftpd (used tftp-hpa) runs on 10.0.0.32. netstat told me the daemon listen to 69 UDP port just fine. running tftp in commandline also shows it works (retrieve pxelinux.0 less then 1 second).

graphics output produces corrupt/empty files
Hi there. as a newbie I figured out the basics of R but when it came to graphic output it was a bad surprise. All but the X11 device do not function properly. Most of them generate an empty file and pdf() produces non valid output (gs and acroread as well). Very annoying, because I have to write a report. I got the recent stable binary rpm (v1.6.2) from CRAN on a SuSE Linux 8.1. Any help? CU

wrong size displayed with df after upgrade to 3.12.6
Dear all, I have a problem with df after I upgraded from 3.12.4 to 3.12.6 All four bricks are shown als online, and all bricks are being used. gluster v stats shows the correct sizes for all devices. However, df does not show the correct glusterfs volume size. It seems to me that it "forgets" one brick. Although all bricks are used when I'm writing files. best wishes, Stefan

wrong size displayed with df after upgrade to 3.12.6
Hi Stefan, There is a known issue with gluster 3.12.x builds (see [1]) so you may be running into this. Please take a look at [1] and try out the workaround provided in the comments. Density estimate with bounds
Dear R users, I would like to show the estimated density of a (0, 1) uniformly distributed random variable. The density curve, however, goes beyond 0 and 1 because of the kernel smoothing. Example: x = runif(10000) plot(density(x)) Is there a way to estimate the density curve strictly within (0, 1) and still use some sort of smoothing? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Best regards,

mkdir -p, cp -R fails
Dear all, I have problem with glusterfs 3.12.4 mkdir -p fails with "no data available" when umask is 0022, but works when umask is 0002. Also recursive copy (cp -R or cp -r) fails with "no data available", independly of the umask. See below for an example to reproduce the error. I already tried to change transport from rdma to tcp. (Changing the transport works, but

Ogg Format
Hello Jean-Marc, As an example, I am using the output of opus encoder to store the file as the following format and read back the same during decode process, without having much overhead. (Thought it would be useful to put a picture rather than running text) [image: Inline image 2] Regards Amit On Thu, May 12, 2016 at 10:47 AM, Amit Ashara <ashara.amit at gmail.com> wrote: > Hello

Specing with Subdomains as Account Keys
How do you go about implementing and rspecing subdomains as account keys? I''m sure that this must be an issues for others as well. So I have an app using subdomains as account keys. The Application Controller sets up @current_company in a before filter. Everything is done within the context of the @current_company. After reading about Demeter''s Revenge

'libRblas.so' missing in R 2.12.1
Dear R developers, I just compiled the latest version of R (2.12.1) and noticed that 'libRblas.so' is missing in the '/x86_64/src/extra/blas' subdirectory of my R-installation. Did I miss ongoing discussions on the Mailinglist about this or might it be a local problem? Thanks for this brilliant software. Best Christian -- Christian Kohler Institute of Functional Genomics ~

I'm not sure how you get a 7% overhead. In most uses I've seen, the overhead is more around 1%. > At the same time the > file

Maximum Queue Name Length
Do queue names have a max length? I have a queue named 'oneeighty_techsupp' in queues.conf, and a 'show queues' returns a truncated queue name. Is that just a display bug, or do queues names have a max length of 12? demeter*CLI> show queues oneeighty_te has 0 calls (max unlimited) in 'rrmemory' strategy (0s holdtime), W:0, C:0, A:0, SL:0.0% within 0s Members:

[EXT] Replace broken host, keeping the existing bricks
Hi, The method depends a bit if you use a distributed-only system (like me) or a replicated setting. I'm using a distributed-only setting (many bricks on different servers, but no replication). All my servers boot via network, i.e., on a start, it's like a new host. To rescue the old bricks, just set up a new server this the same OS, the same IP and and the same hostname (!very

WinXP slow share access
My WinXP clients are able to map a network drive on my samba server. However, it takes 30 seconds to do so, and accessing the contents of the shared drive is also quite slow. Linux (smbclient) and Windows 2000 clients are able to map the share instantly, and access files without delay. I am using Linux 2.4.5, with samba 2.2.3a compiled from source on the server. The delay is consistent at 30

Ogg Format
The overhead of Ogg (in file size) is pretty small and it's efficient enough for most applications (and uses far less CPU than the codec anyway). If anything, you might want to look at optimizing the existing Ogg implementation (e.g. like Tremor did in the context of Vorbis). Of course, you're always free to design a new container, but I doubt it's worth it and it's a lot of work

Problems with directories containing spaces in name
Hi anybody! I'm not shure if this really is a rsync problem, it might also be a shell issue. But hopefully, someone has a hint for me ;-) I'm using rsync 3.0.9 on two OS X Servers (FreeBSD) to synchronize several folders between both servers (2-way-sync). Works fine, with one exception: One of the directories to be sync'd contains a whitespace in its pathname, and this one only
