Specifying certain tables NOT to be cleared each example?
Is it possible to specify that certain tables not be cleared on each example. I''ve inherited a project where a good amount of enumerated data is stored in the database (US States, statuses, about 15-20 tables worth. Over all, it''s a reasonable decision that leads to solid production code (acts_as_enumerated is good). This data is read-only and relatively static; any

Dell PERC H800 commandline RAID monitoring tools
We're looking for tools to be used in monitoring the PERC H800 arrays on a set of database servers running CentOS 5.5. We've installed most of the OMSA (Dell monitoring) suite. Our current alerting is happening through SNMP, though it's a bit hit or miss (we apparently missed a couple of earlier predictive failure alerts on one drive). OMSA conflicts with mega-cli, though we may

ZenTest autotest now handles RSpec, yay!
Josh Knowles http://joshknowles.com/ just let me know that ZenTest Autotest 3.50 now handles your RSpec specs. http://blog.zenspider.com/archives/2007/04/zentest_version_350_has_been_released.html That''s a great news. Josh also shared with me a quick hack to make autotest work with only the RSpec plugin installed. Add the following into your ~/.autotest file

List dimention labels to plots of components
It is frustrating to see the labels I want in the dimensions of a list but not be able to extract those labels into titles for plots generated from component objects. If someone could set me straight, I would appreciate it. For your amusement, I have provided an example of the Byzantine code I am currently using to avoid loops: # Simulate ANOVA type test data sex<-c(rep(1,8),rep(0,8))

System hanged - no info in logs.
Hi All. I had today a problem with my mail server (2.6.18-274.12.1.el5 #1 SMP Tue Nov 29 13:37:35 EST 2011 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux, CentOS release 5.7 (Final)). On my Cacti graphs I see that there has been much I/O write on the disks and then there is no more info. Also in logs (messages, dmesg, netconsole) there is no info for about 15 minutes when there was a problem with the server. I would

how to use "lapplyBy" function of "doBy" package
Dear Ruser's I want to substitute each "NA" by the group mean of which the "NA" is belonging to. For example, substitute the first record of traits "NA" by the mean of "BSPy01-10" in the dummy dataframe. I have ever tried to solve this problem by using doBy package. But, I failed. I ask for the advice on how to use "lapplyBy" function of

two 2-node clusters or one 4-node cluster?
Hello, I'm planning migration of current two clusters based on CentOS 6.x with Cman/Rgmanager going to CentOS 7.x and Corosync/Pacemaker. As the clusters and their services are on the same subnet, and there no particular security concerns differentiating them, I'm also evaluating the option to transform the two clusters into a unique 4-node one during the upgrade. Currently I'm

release 2.4.7pre4 - Thanks!
Excellent work, Martin (and any others involved). No more hangs, and the more consistent and complete messages at the different levels of verbose are great. The "why is a path included or excluded" messages at -vv should cut the traffic on this list by about 25% (I wish I'd had them a couple of weeks ago). I've been testing it all morning with a somewhat Byzantine set of perl

Xiph and Sourceforge downloads sections
How about using Sourceforge only for the most recent version? It would prevent any possible confusion (or the hassle with SF?s byzantine file interface) and if people are looking for older versions they could always go to http://downloads.xiph.org/releases/flac/. Suitability of R for Algorithm simulations
Greetings, Sorry for the basic question, but I am trying to find out if R is a suitable platform for what I want to do... I am interested in creating simulations of distributed algorithms (i.e. team formation, Byzantine Generals , P2P communication modeling, mobile networks) that would be represented in GUIs. I would like to be able to instantiate an object for each node in my simulated

CentOS-6.5 (FreePBX-2.6) Asterisk-11.14.2 (FreePBX) snom870-SIP 8.7.3.25.5 I am having a very difficult time attempting to get TLS and SRTP working with Asterisk and anything else. At the moment I am trying to get TLS functioning with our Snom870 desk-sets. And I am not having much luck. Since this is an extraordinarily (to me) Byzantine environemnt I am going to ask if any of you have gotten

Samba 3.0 + AD + OpenLDAP
Hi everyone! I've already deployed samba-2.2.7a-2 and enabled openLDAP support. I now have a machine configured as a domain controller authenticating all windows users via openLDAP. openLDAP is also authenticating all of our linux users. I would like to install Exchange2000 on a windows2000 machine so our windows users can do calendaring (sendmail already handles all of our email needs).

editing bind (DNS) configuration under CentOS 6
Hello listmates, It appears that system-config-bind has been phased out. Whatever the reasoning was behind that decision - what are we expected to do now? Edit it manually? That is doable, of course, but kind of cumbersome. Does anybody know if there is a tool we are expected to use for that purpose? Thanks. Boris.

Mysql B0rked - new install - confused
Hi Folks, I've just done my first two Centos installs, having moved over from WB..er..never mind. I seem to be stuck with mysql - it's not installing; well, on one system it starts but there's no /var/lib/mysql folder or socket file and on the other, mysql just doesn't seem to be there at all. I have done a 'yum remove mysql' and then a 'yum install mysql' on the
