Adding a table of contents to html output using the bookdown package
I am trying to get rmarkdown with bookdown to include a table of contents in html output, and having trouble. Here is an example that I think illustrates the trouble. I have a file "test.Rmd" as follows: [127]% cat test.Rmd --- title: Test Document output: html_document: toc: true --- # Introduction some text # A section some more text [128]% If I run: library(rmarkdown)

Slide Show (S9) Gem V0.7 - Better Support for More Markdown (Ruby) Libs and More
Hello, == What's new in 0.7? I removed the dependency on Maruku (and Oniguruma) and now allow and check for optional installed Markdown libraries/gems. For now the search order for markdown libraries is first come, first serve, that is: rdiscount > rpeg-markdown > maruku > bluecloth (fallback, always present because it's required in gem spec). rake db:create fails
Hello folks, I´m here trying to find the way to solve my problem. When i try to run rake db:create or rake db:create:all the process stops and the databases are not created. I change the directives, putting --trace before the rake db:create and the steps are C:\appws\cookbook>rake db:create --trace (in C:/appws/cookbook) ** Invoke db:create (first_time) ** Invoke db:load_config (first_time)

#samba-doc: Table of content
Hello, with one day delay, I published the table of content, we had drafted: https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/HowTo_Guide It took more time, because I had restructured it and added a lot of more topics. Existing HowTos are already linked. All other (red) links go to empty pages. This are at least places were we don't have documentation yet. So lets start. ;-) Of course the TOC is just

Table of contents
I'm using Markdown in an app and would like to provide support for including a table of contents. Any suggestions for a syntax? Has anyone done this before? My first thoughts are: 1. Have a special header item (using markdown extra's header syntax), e.g. generate-contents: yes 2. Have a special xml tag with optional alternative text inside, e.g. <contents> 1. First thingy 2.
