[LLVMdev] REX prefix is not handled properly for X86_64?
Hi, Intel's Xed can interpret "43 40 04 75" as "add al, 0x75", but LLVM's X86 disassembler considers this invalid code. I guess the reason is that LLVM fails to recognize the REX prefix in this case. Is this correct? Thanks. Jun -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

rsync and hfs+ compressed files damaged
Hi All, I have been using rysnc 3.0.6 with Mike's rsync_3.0.6-hfs-compression_20091027.diff patch (as well as the standard osx patches) with good results. I discovered that clones done on 10.6 using this rsync cause some executable files ( the ones that are mostly compressed this way on osx ) to be damaged. I did a test twice and indeed a handful of them are damaged. They all appear to be in

Implementing LVS changes made in Piranha GUI
Every time I touch something, pieces fall off! It's a good thing this stuff isn't in production yet (for me I mean). So I had an LVS, configured with Piranha, directing http test transactions across two servers. I used Piranha to add another realserver. It appeared in the lvs.cf file, but didn't appear in the ipvsadm output. So I stopped and restarted Pulse. And now *none* of the

reusing variables "best practices"
Hi All, I''m in the process of creating Puppet modules for my load balanced environment. I have multiple Apache nodes behind a load balancer and each Apache virtual host has its own internal IP. I''ve created an Apache module that does this by creating an Apache vhost template and define my own variables that are substituted by variables I''ve defined in my nodes

mount.ocfs2: Transport endpoint is not connected while mounting
Hi All, I have a cluster of four nodes and one will not join the cluster. I have two IPs on each node, one external and one internal. I have tried changing around the IPs in the /etc/ocfs2/cluster.conf and that helped - at least I recovered three of the machines. Any suggestions on where else to look? error in sernet samba
Reindl/Harald, What is your first name? Sorry for asking, but always wondered about it. I just wanted to note here that... 1) I have seen this also if samba is upgraded and not restarted. Or 2) if a packages is not upgrade because an extra package is also needed at install. And that should be tested/checked/tried out first and if that all fails, then its needed to contact sernet support.

RPM install issues
I am making a new box to test with and was trying to install shorewall via rpm. So I download the shorewall 2.2.5 rpm and issue a rpm -ivh shorewall-2.2.5-1.noarch.rpm. I then get an error: error: Failed dependencies: which is needed by shorewall-2.2.5-1.noarch So as you can see there are no dependency issues. I thought I saw this on the mailing list a while ago but I just searched for it I did
