problem with scope_out
Hi folks,
I''ve got a plugin question: recently started using scope_out, which I
dig. It broke my specs, though -- now I get an "undefined method
scope_out" error when running specs. I can run script/console and use
the scope_out calls with no problem.
Anything special I need to do to include the scope_out code in the
rspec world? I''ve tried including the

content_type from a local file?
I''m using a Rake task to add local files into a database designed for
use with attachment_fu.
http://eldorado.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/db/migrate/039_create_avatars.rb
http://eldorado.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/lib/tasks/import_files.rake
So, attachment_fu has a "content_type" field, which apparently is
receiving that information from the browser...?
I''m trying to

Query cache plugin for rails 1.2
I love the query cache from rails edge, but I didn''t want to put our
production app on edge just yet. (went down that route in the 1.1.x
days, and the edge cut me a few times). So I think I have it ported
into a plugin we can use on 1.2.x

Basically it''s just a copy and paste job of the latest query_cache.rb,

Possible improvements/clarifications for R-forge (Was: Re: Using SVN + SSH on windows)
Hi,
first, r-forge.r-project.org is filling a need and provides a great
service to the community. Please read this thread as sincere feedback
for making it even better, not as a complaint. I fully understand
that r-forge is ran by limited resources and on a volunteer basis.
I'll list some points about r-forge that I think could be
improved/clarified. Not expecting anything, just sharing my

Setting up TortoiseSVN and PuTTY on Windows for r-forge.r-project.org (Was: Re: Using SVN + SSH on windows)
Here are some notes/observations I've done on my setup that works for
me. Hopefully it will be added to some r-forge documentation/wiki.
I use:
Windows Vista Business SP2 32bit
TortoiseSVN 1.6.7 (Build 18415 - 32 Bit , 2010/01/22 17:55:06)
PuTTY v0.60 (with Pageant v0.60)
I have a deprecated r-forge project ('r-oo') that I will use through
out. My r-forge username is

[LLVMdev] style guidelines
Probably this has come up before... but have we considered just adopting
the Google style guidlines and maybe modifying it in some places?
They have a nice script for c++ which will check for many things.

ActiveBudget - Track your money and learn Rails
I''ve worked as a freelance Rails developer for the past 6 months.
Switching from a cushy salary to hourly work forced me to reevaluate my
finances. Developing a budget came easily to me, but tracking my
spending was annoying. I also needed a way to record my work across a
number of jobs. The convergence of these needs lead to ActiveBudget.
ActiveBudget is the software I use every day to

Despite working at Google, and having to cope with multiple different
styles in my day-to-day work as a consequence, I would not push for this.

MIR YAML deserialisation failure
Hello,
I am trying to isolate an assertion failure in if-converter (on PPC) and I
generated a textual debuglog with:
```
LLVM_ARGS=-print-before-all -print-module-scope
-filter-print-funcs=japi1__require_7687
```
and after splicing out the the MIR before the if-converter pass
I would like to run `llc -march=ppc64le -run-pass=if-converter input.mir`
so that I can start minimising the MIR.
