"weight" parameter in htb?
Hello, I''ve been using cbq''s "weight" parameter to influence distribution of excess bandwidth among sibling classes. Does htb offer something similar? So far I think that - you either use priorities - then excess bandwidth is offered to higher priority classes first, the rest (if any) is distributed among lower priority classes - or you don''t use

questiona about CBQ algorithm in Linux
Hi Stef and Alexey I have read some documents about CBQ algorithm from http://www.icir.org/floyd/cbq.html but still have some question about CBQ in Linux . 1. First estimator can estimate how much bandwidth already USED per class. one estimating algorithm is EWMA (exponential weighted moving average), how about Linux implemenatation about estimator? also do you have link for this algorithm? problem.(since Samba will then look at the standard passwd file) But I am looking for alternatives since having unencrypted passwords flying around the network causes too big of a security hole. Is there a way I can make an automated script that will sync the NIS passwd database with the smbpasswd database for all users? 50% of the users won't use their shell account on this machine, but

Help Running am-main.pl Perl/CGI on Apache Server
Hi all, I've installed Asterisk on Linux Red Had 9. Now, I was trying to set up a GUI based system for the PBX. I downloaded some packages, but I have to have Perl running CGI scripts through the webserver. It does not allow me to. I am able to run a basic script that just just prints out html messages and nothing else. However, when I try to run am-main.pl or config.pl or any other

Does Celt encode "silence" buffers (in a stream ) or will it produce "empty" compressed data so that bandwdith could be saved when used on a network? Thanks. St?phane Letz

BudgeTone 102 flakey sound
I have experienced lots of apparently dropped packets (in other words, lots of short interruptions of what the other party tries to tell me) with a GS102 and chan_capi. The GS102 is connected through a lightly-loaded switch directly connected to the * server, so bandwidth/latency shouldn't pose a problem. Funny thing is that the switch indicates 10mbit on the GS102 port - is that correct?

Re: novice level question
I can't speak about whether or not this is a good practice, but I recently removed an intermediate organization from my LDAP tree. It was great as a logical entity but in practice it added an another layer to an already complex structure. I've had a great deal of experience with Novell that allows many layers to a directory structure through NDS. It can become very confusing to the

Phone system layout suggestions
I am thinking about a change to our company's phone "layout" and would like to get comments from people who have done something similar. Currently, we have 3 locations - each with their own Asterisk PBX. The corporate office has a PRI. Each remote location has a SIP provider for 5 channels of SIP going to their own PBX. Interoffice calls use the PSTN. Most inbound calls come to

[LLVMdev] llvmc: Can't find program 'llvm-g++'
I am getting this error while using the command "llvmc -O3 -Wall hello.cpp" where hello.cpp is some cpp file on my machine. llvmc is the driver calling a bunch of tools like llvm-g++, opt, llc etc. I think the llvmc tool could not probably locate the llvm-g++ tool. I would like to know where should I specify the path to llvm-g++ for llvmc to find them. Also can someone give me the link

2.2.8 slows down to a crawl within a few days
We have been using samba for years now and are generally very happy. But since a recent upgrade to 2.2.8 we have seen samba slowing down periodically to a crawl every 2 or 3 days. BTW the start of these problems coincided with the upgrade to samba 2.2.8 and a partial cabling upgrade to 100 MBit, which also coincided with the introduction of the first Win XP Pro machines to our LAN. ;-( We have

[LLVMdev] Instrumenting C/C++ programs
The patch file is a diff file generated by "svn diff". It is about other modifications such as adding some lines to make files to make the added .c and .cpp files compiled. You may apply the patch file to LLVM source code by using a "patch" command or make the changes manually by reading the patch file. Xiaoming On Wed, Sep 28, 2011 at 6:05 AM, Himanshu Shekhar

[LLVMdev] Issues with running the LLVMHello Pass on Windows
Hi, I was trying to write a LLVM Pass, so I first read http://llvm.org/docs/WritingAnLLVMPass.html#quickstart about how to write a llvm pass. Here, under setting up the build environment settings, it was instructed to configure and build LLVM directly inside the LLVM source tree rather than in a separate objects directory. Now, my LLVM source tree is C:\LLVM\llvm-2.9 while my build is in

[LLVMdev] Instrumenting C/C++ programs
Hello guys, I am trying to know how clang generates AST from source code. But it is not clear for me how clang generates it. Can you tell me which class or function of clang is building/generating AST? I want to see the specific function or algorithm of clang which generates AST. Thanks in advance for your idea. [LLVMdev] Instrumenting C/C++ programs
Hello, What you're describing is basically the parsing and codegen portions of clang. I'd suggest reading through the code there and posting to clang-dev if you have any specific questions. The clang devs are more likely to see your questions there as not all of them also hang out here. Regards, Jim On Sep 28, 2011, at 8:28 PM, eyasu getahun <eya.get at gmail.com> wrote: >

Emergency - please help
Hello to all. I have 5 CentOS 3.4 (RHEL AS 3) boxes running Samba 3.0.13-1. They have been joined to ADS; the PDC is a Win2k3 box. I've been running this successfully for a while now. However, this morning, I added SP1 to the Win2k3 server, and now my Samba boxes are all messed up (wouldn't ya know). Where previously I had files and directories that might have ownership of
