What is the maximum number of devices that can be enslaved in a bridge interface? I have tried enslaving 512 devices. Although the brctl tool did not complain while adding them, when I use brctl show command it only shows 255. Thanks

Dovecot,nfs or memory indexing
Hi, I wonder if it's normal behaviour that indexes created in memory have long creation time. Other problem is that indexes created on nfs sometimes get crushed and I need to delete indexes in case of fetching mails ( I see mails on hd but when telnet on host and make stat I don't see any). Does version 1.1.x correct this errors ? And what is better to use : nfs or memory indexing ? Can

cascaded ringing
Hi, I intend to let several SIP-phones on my asterisk ring cascaded on incoming calls. First only phone 1 should ring, after 5 seconds phone 2 should ring in addition and after additional 5 Seconds phone 3 should also ring. How can I realize that correctly? Currently I do use Dial(SIP/1,5) Dial(SIP/1&SIP/2,5) Dial(SIP&1&SIP/2&SIP/3) But this seems not to work correctly on

PEAQ(CELT)
Hello, ? I don?t know whether this is the right place to discuss such a question here. I?m sorry. ? I want to evaluate the CELT codec using a known MATLAB implementation of the PEAQ software. If anyone has used this test program he could see that one of the input parameters (3rd one) shifts the frames for both the reference and the under test audio signals. Another parameter (4th one) marks the

Linux bridging and cascaded switches
Hi - Still plugging away at my Linux bridge/firewall and thinking through the consequences. In a normal firewall situation, the Internet is on one side, the internal LAN on the other. Duh! But now, with a Linux bridge in the middle, the whole thing becomes one big messy LAN. So we have a scenario that looks like this: Internal---User---Core-----Firewall---Internet---Internet router Servers

tc questions
