Sieve during read or login?
I was wondering if anyone thought of applying filters to email post
delivery, pre-read.
Basically the idea would be to head off Spam, Malware or Phishing for
already delivered email. Malware would probably be the least likely
target, as (knock on wood) user workstations would be updated, but a
targeted phishing scam would not create a public signature that would
be downloaded, yet an

Boonex Dolphin PHP script is SCAM! Beware!
Boonex is a scam. I had to purchase their "Advanced" membership first to be able to contact anyone to ask questions or get help. Then after purchasing a license for $39 I posted on their forums and was dog piled by their staff and premium members who have been around so long they forgot how to be polite.
I never got the software working because most hosts have restrictions for the .EXE

CleanLog.h
Sad to say one of my file servers was exploited and used to run a
Phishing scam. Have identified subject virus amongst other things. It
appears twice in a virus scan; /sbin/z (which I assume can just be
deleted) and /sys/bus/serio/drivers/atkbd/description. The latter file
is also present in identical uninfected machines. I have been unable to
open the file, even with root privileges, although

[LLVMdev] Phishing Attack?
I am compiling svn head LLVM at the moment and I keep getting requests for password, which never used to occur before, followed by:
Connection closed by 147.32.84.4, which is some site in Amsterdam.
This occurs at this point in the make execution: make[3]: Entering directory `......./llvm/lib/Target/X86'
Is this genuine, or has someone hacked the code and inserted some phishing attack into

"phishing" (was: [patch] Automatically add keys to agent)
[ Sorry, I did not see the renamed thread until I'd already replied on
the old one. Calling this a phishing attack is exactly right. ]

Phishing attempt
FYI/Heads up,
I /just/ received what looks like a phishing attempt for information
about Open Source PBX usage. It says it comes from Digium but all the
links (including the one for digium.com) point elsewhere.

simpletelecom.com??? are they a SCAM?
Hi List!
any body use www.simpletelecom.com?
I subscribe to www.simpletelecom.com for A-Z termination and paid
US$15.00 and US$70.00 via credit card in two days, but my account has
US$15.00 only. I checked my credit card from the bank and they said me
the payment already paid to merchant.
I've lost US$70.00 :(
so anyone here has experience with them? are they a SCAM?
Thanks!

[LLVMdev] Phishing Attack?
This appears to be not as bad as I first feared.
I had been using llvm previously on a remote machine and for some inexplicable reason a fresh compilation on my local machine wanted to make a connection to the remote one, in the context of:
Updated Intrinsics.gen because Intrinsics.gen.tmp changed significantly.
Though why this should be necessary, or useful, is beyond me.

[LLVMdev] "Phishing Attack" Solved
Sorry about taking up the bandwith here, I have solved this interesting bug of my own now.
It turns out I had inadvertently inserted a shell script into my search path which happened to have the same
name as one of the more obscure system programs used in the LLVM Makefile execution and this was trying to
connect to the remote machine instead of getting on with the job.... a warning against using

Phishing attempt posing as digium
Did anyone else just get what looks like a phising attempt pretending to
be from digium?
It appears to be full of links to http://app.en25.com/e/er.aspx
I must admit, it looks genuine.

On mailboxes, separators, and dovecot2
While I was running dovecot 1.2.9, I had my mailboxes using the
old Courier IMAP format. i.e. my mailboxes would look like
INBOX.Orders.Scams
Going to dovecot 2 (but not 2.1), I see to have a few questions:
1) It seems I would device my mailbox thingies in 10-mail.conf:
namespace inbox {
inbox = yes
separator = .
location =
prefix = INBOX.
type = private

messaged support, and got nowhere.
I highly recommend everyone stays away from this provider.

[OT] Purchasing Rails beta book and CC Verification
Did anyone else who purchased the Rails betabook get a telephone call
from someone at "Humboldt Merchants" (sp?) asking to verify their
purchase, ostensibly to ensure there was no fraud (on the part of the
merchant, not the person buying the book)?
They knew my name, phone number, the title of the book I bought and
the type of credit card I used. They didn''t give or ask for the

Question about "extracting" unwanted e-mails from mdbox
Imagine the following scenario
Last Saturday, 3:00 AM a big phishing attack hits our e-mail inboxes. Spamassassin does not mark them as spam, and our 50.000+ users have in their mdbox a very credible phishing attack. What doveadm-fu could I use to delete (or move to spam) that e-mail from each user INBOX (let?s imagine the Subject or a Header is known)?
I repeat: already delivered e-mail, how

Beta IE7 Policy Template
Hi all,
Just finished all of the "annoyance" issues with IE7 and started putting
together an IE7 policy template for System Policy Editor. This is just
a "beta" release I guess.
Get it Here:
http://files.pcc-services.com/files/samba/ie7beta1.adm
Here is what I included so far:
- Always Show Menu bar
- Set Menubar to Top Position
These two basically make IE7 look more
