imq config
Dear all, I know this is not imq mailing list. But many of the users over here have done exactly what i want. Requirement:- I want to tight bound eth1 for 100 kbps but after i want to create many classes of 64 kbps or 50 kbps and others. But the total sum of classes is more than 100 kbps so my eth1 is not restrciting total bandwidth at 100kbps. According to search on google imq is the solution.

packet shaping bridge
Hi all, I''m new to using iproute2 for traffic shaping but not new to Linux. Essentially I have a WAN between two cities that I stream audio over for rebroadcast. Since it''s all done live stability and prioritization is critical in staying on air for our radio broadcasts. My WAN is 1.5Mbit PVC within my provider''s infrastructure so I have an unencrypted direct

HTB as a child of another HTB - doesn''t work
Hi, I am new to HTB and in the learning process I want to simulate a slower link on my server to see how qdisc works. I have a 100Mbit connection. I want to simulate a 100K connection and to divide traffic between FTP and SMB. (like in HTB user guide). The problem is that it doesn’t work. I can transfer files with FTP of SAMBA at the wire speed. (Just like when there was no HTB and qdisc).

mixing u32 and fwmark
Hi! There is one thing I can''t do. In my country we have to pay for "foreign" internet. Local internet is cheap and fast, but foreign is slow and expensive. So I want do following: mark every packet with iptables, where --set-mark 1 for foreign internet, but --set-mark 2 for local internet next when I got all traffic marking, I need to assign traffic to users so I make

does astcanary really work?
A week ago, I tried give realtime priority to asterisk proces using -p switch, asterisk was running inside astcanary, but yestarday asterisk probably starts eating all cpu and lock any access to computer, only ping was possible, so, anybody have experience, that ascanary process does really work to lower process priority in case of overloading? It seems as my server with CentOS 4, PHP 4.3.9 doesn't have >= GD-1.8 support or better. I did a phpinfo() and I can not find any reference to GD..............Any help on this would be well appricated -- Best Regards, Jon McCauley

Riello Vision VST 1100 + NetMan 204 network card
I've contacted Riello and they told me that the NetMan 204 is the new version of the Netman Plus 102 and is indeed compatible with NUT. I don't know how to update the Hardware compatibility list page, but the 204 should be added to the compatible ones. Niccolo' Il 2022-06-17 12:02 Niccol? Center of Closed Contour
I am searching for a utility in R which will determine the mean location of a closed contour and eventually record the location in an ASCII file. By means of the contour utility in R, I am able to produce an image of a contour, but I am seeking a procedure which will produce the coordinates of the center of mass of the contour. From my actual set of data, the contour utility will produce several

Finally making some progress
I *think* we are finally making some progress in tracking our elusive performance problems. After employing a second 10Mb link from our ISP, along with another firewall box and proxy, we were able to determine the problem *is* our firewall. We don''t know exactly why yet, but our sporadic slow web access seems to have gone away since swapping a new firewall in this morning. The
