Problem linking with libdb
Hello,
I am trying to compile iproute2 but something does not work when
linking with libdb.
This is what I am using:
- iproute2-ss050607
- linux 2.4.22
- make 3.79.1
- gcc 2.95.3
- ld 2.15
When I type make, it ends somewhere in ./misc with the following error
message:
make output starts here:
gcc -D_GNU_SOURCE -O2 -Wstrict-prototypes -Wall -I../include -DRESOLVE_HOSTNAMES -DCONFIG_GACT

On the calulation of crossed differences
Dear Contributors,
I am back asking for help concerning the same type of dataset I was asking
before, in a previous help request.
I needed to sum data over subsample of three time series each of them made
of 100 observations. The solution proposed
were various, among which:
db<-p
dim( db ) <- c(25,4,3)
db2 <- apply(db, c(2,3), sum)
db3 <- t(apply(db2, 1, function(poff)

arpd question
Hi all,
I have noticed that the "CONFIG_NETLINK" has been removed since kernel
version 2.4.17, does this mean that we cannot use "arpd" with kernel
versions 2.4.17 onwards.

can''t understand strange PRIO behaviour
Hello everybody,
sorry for bothering you, but after some hours, I''m stuck. I''m living in
a student''s foundation where I want to connect lots of people to a tiny
DSL link. We have exactly four types of traffic. We want a really hard
PRIO solution (as I promised to someone that group X will only use the
link capacity which isn''t used by group Y). I could make a

netem usage example
I''m trying to setup a netem delay with no luck (using iproute2-2.6.8,
compilation broke during arpd compile, so I use the
tc binary in the tc/ subdir, there''s also a q_netem.so there).
kernel is 2.6.8.1, compile with CPU cycle counter as time reference.
I was using sch_delay of 2.6.7 happily with something like:
tc qdisc add dev eth0 root 1: delay latency 1ms rate 35M
now I use:

for(i in 1:50000){
if(i%%400 == 0) {datos[-i,]}
}
Pero no me funciona. Además me han dicho que

Woohoo! Finally, an answer which just happened to point
me in the right direction. Also, I spent a little more
time scouring through the compile errors.

Are stub databases still supported in 1.0.21?
I have the following setup:
Databases:
/var/lib/xapian-omega/data/db1
/var/lib/xapian-omega/data/db2
/var/lib/xapian-omega/data/db3
Stub:
/var/lib/xapian-omega/data/default
The stub file "default" is a text file that contains the following:
auto /var/lib/xapian-omega/data/db1
auto /var/lib/xapian-omega/data/db2
auto /var/lib/xapian-omega/data/db3
Using the following returns nothing:

SUN Storage 7310 with RHEL 5.5 / Centos 5.5 and multipathed root, again.
Dear all,
After some trouble finding the right multipath.conf, I'm running Centos
5.5 against the SUN 7310 more or less successfully now. Unfortunately one
issue remains:
the SUN 7310 has two storage heads, H1 and H2, which are in a
active/passive configuration. If I define a LUN on H1, everything works
great. I edit multipath.conf, re-create the initrd and I find 8 paths with

[LLVMdev] LLVM build error
It looks to me like your libLLVMSupport.a didn't get built or you didn't
update all of LLVM. Please make sure you update from the root of the
tree with the command:
cvs update -ARPd
