Is there a Rails portlet like plugin/framework? (i.e. just basic to allow users to move windows around)
Hi,
Just wondering if there is a Rails Plugin/GEM/Framework to aid in letting
users move around (adjust) where the main page windows are. Perhaps
maximize and minimize. I guess this pretty much sounds like a portlet,
however I''m not asking the Rails true portlet integration question here, but
rather if there is something in the Rails world that just satisfies the
basics of a portlet

Why Struts2 use dojo instead of Scriptaculous?
Hi,
I''m using prototype/Scriptaculous in my open source project JSControlsTags
http://jscontrolstags.sourceforge.net/
I''m Struts user and in the new version Struts2, the framework integrate AJAX
with dojo
and not with Prototype/Scriptaculous. I asked in the Struts forum, why
Struts2 integrate
by default dojo and not scriptaculous.
Here Struts answer :

Interest in commercial support for R, R-metrics and related packages
I am a partner at Assembla, a software services group that helps companies
make use of open source techniques and software. We have been asked by a
company in the financial services sector to provide support for their use of
R, Rmetrics and possibly SciViews.
I am trying to locate other companies in the financial services industry
that might be interested in commercial support for R, Rmetrics

snmp-ups sends status "OL OB" on HP R3000 UPS with AF465A management card [UPDATE]
Additional question: I noticed on the HP Website that the latest version
of "CPQPOWER.MIB" (1.76, dated Sept. 19, 2013) was more recent than the
related file (./drivers/compaq-mib.c) in the NUT driver.
Is the MIB structure as implemented on the management card perhaps no
longer in line with the NUT driver ?
The latest MIB file can be downloaded from the following URL:

snmp-ups sends status "OL OB" on HP R3000 UPS with AF465A management card [UPDATE]
Further information on this issue, attn. Arnaud Quette:
Here is the result of a test I made a few days ago. I've pulled the
input plug on the UPS and watched the 3 critical OIDs through a MIB browser:
- 1.3.6.1.4.1.232.165.3.4.5.0 goes from 3 (OL) to 5 (OB)
(as expected => good)
- 1.3.6.1.4.1.232.165.3.7.3.0 stays at 1 (OB)
(=> seems meaningless)
- 1.3.6.1.4.1.232.165.3.7.4.0

Interest in commercial support for R, R-metrics and relat ed packages
Spotfire communicates with R and S-PLUS via SOAP (in R's case, via Greg
Warnes' RSOAP server). I would guess that `linking' at that level with GPL
software does not make the code on the Spotfire side GPL. The two systems
don't even have to live on the same computer (and most likely, don't).
Just my $0.02...

Getting at the LPC coefficients
Bonjour,
D?apr?s votre question ? Jean_Marc :
? Je m'int?resse ? la source 1.0.5, et je ne vois pas une _spx_lpc (). Il ya
une _spx_autocorr (), qui est en lpc.c et est appel? ? proximit? du d?part
de la
Codeur fonction dans nb_celp.c.
L'encodeur semble appeler la autocorr () la fonction, puis appelle wld ()
pour faire
quelque chose qui s'appelle Levinson-Durbin.

Content overlapping IE7 scrollbars?
Hey all,
I''ve Googled and searched for this answer numerous times, but can''t
find it. Apologies if this has been posted here before.
I have a frameset in IE7 with a top and bottom frame (I know... frames
suck. No choice here). The bottom frame is where all the action is,
specifically, a portal with draggable (sortable, actually) portlets.
Anyway, I get this funky problem

Redcloth is ..
I've been looking at Dean Allen's Redcloth, which claims to incorporate
both Markdown and Textile, as implemented in Ruby by _why.
While the code is clear and readable, the boundary between markdown and
Textile is not.
The documentation says
# By default, Redcloth uses both Textile and Markdown formatting, with
# Textile formatting taking precedence. If you want to turn off Markdown
