sfq as solution to "Small ISP problems" and "How could I do this?"

I don''t think you want this to always be high prio - that includes scp.

Clearly can''t be done if you have more http requests than your
bandwidth can handle.

Dial outbount trunk numbers in a round-robin sequence?
Hi All,
Customer is requesting 1 incoming toll free #, that dial out to 4
different terminating numbers, not ring all at once but ring #1, then
#2, then #3, then #4, then back to #1 consecutively on inbound calls,
regardless if someone is on #1. So this is not like a hunt group,
more like an agent queue set with a round-robin sequence.
I know agents can do this, not too familiar with agents

modprobe ifb
I''m trying to set up a traffic control on ingress attaching a egress qdisc to
the ifb device. The idea is to use a RED algorithm instead of policing
the incoming traffic. After trying with tc-red and not obtaining the
expected results, I decided to try with something easier, and use htb
as bottleneck:
ifconfig ifb0 up
tc qdisc del dev $dev ingress
tc qdisc del dev ifb0 root
tc qdisc add

changing coordinates?
I just detected R and have, after browsing the manual, one question:
I look for quite a lot of time for graphical software which allows to
plot data from a table or external file _with the axes of the coordinate
system changed_, i.e. the x-axis should run from top left to bottom
left, and the y-axis from top-left to top-right. It is of no use to
interchange the rows in the table, the

R for MacOSX - History and command line problems
Hi!
I have the following issues using "R for Mac OS X 2.2.1" (from the
ppc-.dmg) on a Mac OS X 10.4.5:
1) The command history is never saved (automatically) to .Rhistory.
(The file stays empty.)
2) If I save a history to some file via the "Save History" button,
and I load it afterwards via "Load History", only the first entry of
the saved History appears in

HTB and ATM patch
Hi all,
I patch my kernel (2.6.17) and my tc (iproute2-2.6.18-061002) utilitie for
an accurate packet scheduling on an ATM link.
I configure my HTB hierarchy on the upload of the link and try with
differents flows.
It works correctly but in some of case I lose about 50% of my bandwith.
I use the overhead (42) configuration for my link (PPPoE, VC/LLC) indicate
in the documentation.
