[3.0.2] booster + unfsd failed
Hi list.
I have been testing with glusterfs-3.0.2.
glusterfs mount works well.
unfsd on glusterfs mount point works well too.
When using booster, unfsd realpath check failed.
But ls util works well.
I tried 3.0.0-git head source build but result was same.
My System is Ubuntu 9.10 and using unfsd source from official gluster
download site.
Any comment appreciated!!

Configuring Shared Mailbox Dictionaries
Hello, list!
I am in the midst of configuring a new Dovecot IMAP server, and I'm
preparing to setup shard mailboxes as part of the ocnfiguration. In
order to get these setup the way I want, I've figured out that I'm going
to have to setup an acl_shared_dict. This is where things start to get
confusing for me, as I have had difficulty finding thorough explanations
of dictionary

Shared mailboxes setups and dictionaries
Hello,
I am relatively new to the world of MTAs and MDAs, and I try to set up
shared mailboxes.
So far I have somehow succeeded - I have defined a shared namespace and
I have managed to create per-mailbox ACL files thanks to the doveadm
command.
However, I have been following these resources and there were bits that
have puzzled me:
When learning about how ACL work in e.g.

IVR dictionary dial-plan
Does anyone know of an (E)AGI or program to develop a IVR dial-plan
which will take a list of words and then do something when a unique
branch has been found.
i.e.
Say there's 3 words
demon
deacon
bishop
On a phone they'd be represented as
33666
332266
247467
So if the user enters "2" we know they want bishop
if they enter "336" they want demon and "332"

can't get remote_function working on rails 2.3.2
I''ve tried moving the code around in different ways, but so far I
haven''t gotten remote_function to work for me (I''m using Rails 2.3.2 on
my Mac). I want to make an AJAX call when I double-click a word on my
page, and the Javascript function is being called when the ondblclick
event is fired, but nothing happens when it gets to my the "new
Ajax.Request" part

about ulimit -n 1M
Hi,
I noticed that the glusterfs client tries to set ulimit -n to 1M. When
I run booster with non-privileged user, the following line appears
several times in the log file:
[2009-09-14 09:15:22] W [client-protocol.c:6010:init] brick-0-0-0:
WARNING: Failed to set 'ulimit -n 1M': Operation not permitted
When I run it with root, there's no such complaint even though

Having less languages in Firefox (hunspell dictionaries provide too many locales)
Hello,
on CentOS 6, I am routinely writing mails in English, German and
French and using the related hunspell dictionaries for the spelling in
Firefox (I'm using Google Apps).
This works fine but the problem is that languages are added for all
the possible locales (English US, UK, Philippines, Bostwana, Trinidad
and Tobago, Denmark (sic!), ... and German Germany, Austria... and

Automatic Differentiation for R
In efforts to improve optimization tools for R, one of my
interests has been getting automatic differentiation capabilities
so that analytic rather than numerical derivatives can be used. They
would be helpful in several other areas besides optimization, My timings
show
factors of the order of 1000s in time improvements by avoiding
numerical derivatives in some cases.
There has been some work in

PMB.exe Error when Installing League of Legends
I'm using the terminal commands from http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=19141
The LeagueofLegends.exe starts fine, but when it gets to the part where it starts Pando Media Booster, I get a Program Error saying "The program PMB.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
Under that it says: "This

Parametric polymorphism is different from subtype polymorphism; you
can have one without the other. Parametric polymorphism just means
that you can use type variables (like T) in the IR, which are later
instantiated

Sweave - problems with underscores in variable names...
Hi all,
I've just started using the Friedrich Leisch's Sweave package to
generate LaTeX reports with results of my analyses embedded as
required.
I've encountered a bit of a problem though in the processing of the
resulting *.tex file that is as far as I can tell, down to the fact
that my variable names have underscores ('_') in their names.
The relevant section of code

Missing /share/dictionaries/en_stats.rds
Hi. I'm on Windows 7 64-bit with latest R devel with and Rtools

dict package: dictionary data structure for R
Hi all,
The dict package provides a dictionary (hashtable) data
structure much like R's built-in environment objects, but with the
following differences:
- The Dict class can be subclassed.
- Four different hashing functions are implemented and the user can
specify which to use when creating an instance.
I'm sending this here as opposed to R-packages because this package

beginner Q: hashtable or dictionary?
Hi,
Is there something like a hashtable or (python)
dictionary in R/Splus?
(If not, is there a reason why it's not needed /
typical way to accomplish the same thing?)
Thank you
