build rpvm under cygwin

But runs into some linker errors like e.g. undefined reference to `_R_alloc' My enviornment looks like this: CYGWIN pvm 3.4 compiled under cygwin myself R installed from the rw2001.exe setup file. Question about multiple ldap backend (as failover/load balance)
Hello OK, in my case, there is only one samba server acting as PDC. On the PDC, it has a openldap server as backend. I have configured another server as the slave ldap server. slave ldap server will pool data by syncrepl. There are some spaces in samba/smbldap-tool that we can configure multiple ldap servers (or load balance by use of DNS) What happen if the PDC write data to the slave ldap

As suggested in "max upload size?" http://www.mail-archive.com/mongrel-users at rubyforge.org/msg02325.html I created a plugin that disconnects (raises an error which terminates the socket) if the specified content-length is higher than 200 MB (by default). I don''t know the behaviour if the specified content length is different than the actual uploaded data or if no

HPUX and privsep
Subject: HPUX and privsep Anyone solved or see the same connection I do with these two issues on HPUX if Privilege Separation is turned off ? Logname not found (3.7.1p2, 3.8.1p1) Login prematurely quits during session setup (mm_send_fd: sendmsg(3): Bad file number | mm_receive_fd: recvmsg: expected received 1 got 0) (3.8.1p1) Seems the mm_xxxx_() functions arent called when PrivSep is off.

ebcdic problem in bufaux.c
I am working on a port of Openssh 3.8p1 after already having done a port of Openssh 3.5p1. There are a couple of new lines in buffer_get_bignum2() that are causing me problems: if (len > 0 && (bin[0] & 0x80)) fatal("buffer_get_bignum2: negative numbers not supported"); The "& 0x80" check is not relevant in ebcdic. Does anyone

Ultra simple mail server config?
Hello, I am hoping you folks on the list could advise me on this... Can anyone point me towards a HOW-TO that describes how to transform a normal CentOS install into a very basic POP3/IMAP/SMTP email server? Our current ISP where we host ~15 domains and ~25+ email accounts has a mandatory incoming "auto-discard" spam filter that is far too strict to continue using. Unfortunately,

If it does not, is there a way to specify that actions may be run in parallel? Also, is puppet a multiple or single thread application? Hi, I have 2 partition o my HD: /dev/hda1 e /dev/hda2 . In /dev/hda2 there is Suse_10.1, /dev/hda1 is empty, and in the MBR there is Grub. Normally, FreeBSD can be installed from a CD or a floppy, but I haven't neither a cd device nor a floppy device. So, I want run the installation of FreeBSD_6.2 from a floppy image. In this thread there is an idea, but I didn't understand it.
