Gentlemen, I have a question regarding yum groupinstall vs just using yum install. I have been reading tutorials online (for example how to run a Centos LAMP). Most of the tutorials have examples to install httpd, mysql, etc using yum install httpd.... The reason for this e-mail is that I noticed in yum grouplist that there is an option to install Web Server, MySQL database server, etc.

Hello, Does anyone have a guide for setting up an nfs server for unattended deployment of centos5? Basically what i want to do is boot a system from CD media, pass a boot parameter nfs, and ks= options then walk away, the box goes out to the nfs server, finds the kickstart file, reads, and does it. Hello, I have installed CentOS7 and found some of the Chinese html web pages hosted on the CentOS machine cannot display normally.
