Re: Forum Software Update and mailing list gateway
Hey! That's a good news! You should always update the anti-spam software to lessen or most importantly to prevent spammers. About the mailing list, splitting is the right way.

Forum Software Update and mailing list gateway
Hi folks,
the volunteer admins for forum.winehq.org have been deleting
an increasing amount of spam lately, and it seems
clear that we need to update the forum software to a
new release with better antispam features.
The catch is, the mailing list gateway plugin is not compatible
with the new version of the forum.
It looks like the users are split about 90% on the forum and about
10% on the

Mailing list <-> forum gateway
Hi all,
First off - this is not flame bait or a troll. It's a genuine question.
Since the forum gateway was introduced, it is my opinion that this list
is getting flooded with newbie questions. Check the "I just installed
Ubuntu" thread for a typical example.
I wish to silently remove all wine-forum posts and their replies from my
inbox. I plan to filter based on

OT: How does the wine-users forum<->email gateway work in detail?
How does the gateway between list and forum work? I don't just mean
the simple posting thing, I mean all the little management
nuts'n'bolts that made their ned apparent after the gateway was in
place.
I ask because Wikimedia is considering this for at least one of its
lists (foundation-l), and probably others if that goes well.
The Wine forum appears to work very well, and speaking

Setting up a t38 fax gateway
Hello to all,
Is there an "how-to" for asterisk and setting up a t38
fax gateway (SIP) ?
I look at http://bugs.digium.com/view.php?id=5090 to
patch asterisk chan_sip.c file.
What are the next steps to get a t38 fax gateway with
asterisk ?
Regards
Harry
PS:
I use hylafax server.

It''s all the same list: Gmane, Mailing List, Ruby Forum, Nabble, ...
Does anyone have any ideas how to stop people from posting multiple
times to this list?
It looks like there is a misunderstanding about the fact that there is
are gateways between the lists, so people are posting a questions to the
mailing list and then posting the identical question at ruby-forum,
nabble, etc.
The excess posts are one thing, but sometimes there are parallel
conversations

Setting up simple routing for all trafic of one host through another
Hello dear tinc users,
I've been looking for a while now for a solution in the mailing list and
maybe I'm guiltily too lazy to learn all that there is to know about
Linux routing and that's why I'm still stuck.
To get right to it: I have 2 hosts connected with tinc - one of them is
a VPS with a public address and static IP address and the other is my
desktop machine, both run

Bug 13517: Forums breaking mailing list
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13517
Is Wine going to have to lose even more experienced users over a stupid
bug? Does WineHQ really value new users over those who have the
knowledge and are willing to help? Let's move towards resolution on
this and consolidate on Google Groups already, before it's too late.

OT: Forum or mailing list for Bash-related questions?
Hi,
The subject says it all. After a few years of writing scripts the quick
and dirty way, I've decided to take the plunge and learn Bash correctly,
using the O'Reilly Bash Cookbook. I'm currently looking for the right
place to ask questions, but curiously enough, Google searches about
"bash forum" result in nothing conclusive. I took a peek in the

setting gateway in interfaces file
I tried to the new GATEWAY option in
/etc/shorewal/interfaces file but it didnt work. My
network setting consists of 2 ISPs line and i would
like to have eth0 to connect to for example,
192.168.15.254 while eth1 connected to 192.168.33.254.
I restarted shorewall and nothing is wrong. However,
the traffic still goes to the default gateway as shown
in "route -n" command. For example, i

Gateway not setting In-Reply-To header
Is there any chance at someone looking at the gateway software between
the forum<-->mailing list and seeing if it is possible to have it set
the In-Reply-To header when sending a forum post to the mailing list in
response to an email?
Would make it much easier on those of us with mail clients that do
threading based on this header.
Btw, what's the software being used? mail2forum?

res_fax T.38 Gateway with SpanDSP - Force ReINVITE?
Greetings-
Working with the T.38 gateway functionality that is sparsely documented [1] , I'm attempting to get the following functional:
Asterisk calling system -> Asterisk system in T.38 Gateway Mode (box in question) -> SIP Provider
The problem is:
-The provider is not initiating a reinvite to T.38, even though it is 100% supported
-Asterisk is not detecting the CNG tones from

RES: GXW 4108 asterisk configuration
I have an Asterisk running with both GXW4008 (FXS) and GXW4108 (FXO).
The FXS Gateway works perfectly, no problem so far.
The FXO Gateway (GXW4108) also works fine. The configuration for local
settings in Brazil was quite easy, however, I still not able to make Caller
ID to work. I'm setting as DTMF Caller ID type, but still not working.
Let us know what kind of problem you have, maybe I

OT: Setting a CentOS to gateway a private IP address
This is mildly off topic since it has more to do with TCP/IP networking
than with CentOS per se. However, at the risk of ruffling a few feathers
I would like some advice on how to resolve the following routing problem:
Given:
dual homed host running CentOS-5.2 with
eth0 = 2xx.yyy.zzz.23
eth1 = 192.168.219.1
and a Cisco gateway at 2xx.1xx.y7y.1 with the following networks:

Fwd: Re: SpiderMux?
Hi,
I have one in stock - got it from a client who wanted to get rid of all
his old IT equipment.
Looks strange, did not have enough time to play with it ....Tried it
once, looked hard to configure.
It stays unused in the storage room.

Samba Forum vs. Mailing List?`!
Hello everyone,
I wanted to ask if there is an official Samba Forum, because I could not
find any on the Project Page. If there isn't any, is there a particular
reason for this not-existance?
Best regards
