iscsi connection drop, comes back in seconds, then deadlock in cluster
Greetings ocfs2 folks, A client is experiencing some random deadlock issues within a cluster, wondering if anyone can point us in the right direction. The iSCSI connection seemed to have dropped on one node briefly, ultimately several hours later landing us in a complete deadlock scenario where multiple nodes (Node 7 and Node 8) had to be panic'd (by hand - they didn't ever panic on

How to use SQL without a model?
I want to do a SQL query, but I haven''t created a model. For example, instead of Car.find(:all) I want to be able to use SELECT * from cars. I don''t have a Car model because this DB was not created with Rails (it''s from a PHP project). -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you

I was not able to reproduce this on a centos 7.2 server using the default kernel. Problems with scsi-target-utils when hosted on dom0 centos 7 xen box
By natively, I take it using kernel /vmlinuz (vs kernel /xen) Not yet, but working on setting up such an environment. (At this time, I was using virt-install to reproduce the problem, and the original server we are testing on did not support kvm but the 2nd server does). OpenSSH server doesn't log client disconnect without SSH_MSG_DISCONNECT
On Tue, 21 May 2024, Opty wrote: > Hello, > > can anyone confirm that OpenSSH server doesn't log client disconnect > without SSH_MSG_DISCONNECT? OpenSSH logs the disconnection regardless of whether the client sends SSH_MSG_DISCONNECT or just drops the connection. A little more information may be logged from the disconnect packet if it was sent, but there should always be a

Multiple Uplinks with the same gateway ip?!
Hi folks, i spent my whole day trying to set up my linux router using load balancing with multiple uplinks. I mainly focused on the nano howto, but somewhere I have a big mistake within my head. Basically the load-balancing is working, but not on a per-connection basis - just on a per packet basis. Practically this is not usable of course <g> But as far as I understood it should work..

Problem with routing for multiple uplinks/providers using iproute2
hi all, we were trying to configure our system with 2 ethernet catds connected to two different providers using iproute2 so that it recieves and transmits data from both of them. We have followed the configuration as given on lartc''s howto But the most wierd part of the story is that after we restart the system (We have put the script in rc.local) the system works fine and we can ping

what might cause iSCSI connection 1:0 error ISCSI_ERR_CONN_FAILED
Hi, I do have a centos 6.x server which accessed two different iscsistorages for a long time without any trouble. The storage-connection is done by a separate NIC and VLAN. The LAN access is on an other NIC. This weekend something broke and I don't have any clue what might be the problem or what caused it. The storages where mounted RO. In /var/loge/messages there are lot of messages; so

Routing lost
I have a server running Centos4. I found I was seeing some network problems so I tried "route" and found there was no routing. I thought reboot would solve it but it didn't. I had to manually enter a route to the default gateway, there is still no route to the loopback interface. How is this possible? I thought there was default routes built into the kernel, taken from

PuTTY stopped sending it long time ago [1] and I wonder if any client must or at least should do that like OpenSSH client does. I have disabled e-mail delivery so Cc me please.
