Error in prototype.js ......var value = element.style[style];
Hi,
I have a script that throws an error in prototype.js on line 1889. Its
just started showing...it''s not breaking my app at all just showing
the error. I can''t track back to where it started happening though.
It''s this line.

Has anyone encountered this before....do yiou have any hints on how to

Prototype, JSON and headers
Hi everyone.
I love JSON and using Prototype has help me reduce the code to handle
AJAX responses.
But one thing keeps me confused and sometimes even frustrated.
I don''t really understand what is going on with the headers, so if

i see a very strange behavior in safari when using prototype.js and
the pear HTML_TreeMenu
to reproduce get prototype.js (http://www.prototypejs.org/assets/

hey guys..
im a prototype rookie here..
the concept of "a framework for javascript" seemed mouth watering..
but my rails got stuck when i started using it.

hoverclass on droppable zone

prototype causing value undefined error
I have a project for which I used a Wicket template as a starting

PeriodicalExecuter stops when form is submitted in Safari 3
Hi I''m having a problem using PeriodicalExecuter with a form.
I have a monitoring pane that updates status of form processing,
and it stops working when I submit a form. It works with Safari 2,
IE, Firefox, but not with Safari 3.

javascript using jQuery.js and prototype.js doesnt work 2get

M hving javascript "scripts.js" which uses jQuery.js in rails
application. bt when it is used along with prototype.js, one of the
javascripts which hs been included first in my application.rhtml
fails...

Prototype doesn't work if we have swf content on the same page
I having to many troubles with prototype and scriptaculous when i have
object tag to embed swf content on webpage. First it conflict with
adsense and the page can''t be showed on IE6, fine, i remove adsense
banners. But my lightbox galery(maded with prototype) doesn''t work if
i had swf content from youtube...

for some purpose, I need a "in-javascript database", maybe built with

but what about junction tables, I mean those which express many-to-
many relations between two entity tables ?

I noticed that some of my event handlers and scripts evaluated in ajax
responses didn''t work in Konqueror (3.5.5).
document.getElementsByClassName is not defined in these contexts.
I can work around this, by saving document.getElementsByClassName in a
