Hi all
*Context:*
I'm trying to use the s4bind scripts (
http://linuxcostablanca.blogspot.com.es/p/s4bind.html)

So far, i've succeeded in
* modifying (posixifying) the built-in "Domain Users"
* adding a user to this group and i can login with this user (ssh), create
files that are correctly owned, etc... The user also shows up correcly in
ADUC.

samba4 & (domain) dfs
Hi all
I'm trying to set up dfs for (among other things) profiles (i don't know if
this is a good example, but that is out of the scope of my current question)
I've been following these instructions:
http://www.samba.org/samba/docs/man/Samba-HOWTO-Collection/msdfs.html
http://us.generation-nt.com/answer/samba-domain-dfs-samba-4-help-209347402.html

Hello Mailing List, I really need some help/advice.
Please bear with me as this is my first time actually using a mailing list.
I've set up a CentOS 6.4 machine as a samba4 Primary Domain Controller, and
successfully joined a windows 8 client machine to the domain.
My question is as follows: when I add the computer "BED-DESK-01" to the
domain "MYDOMAIN.LOCAL" shouldn't an A record be created for

ntp and samba4
Hi all
Recently i noticed that upon starting the samba4 'samba' daemon, that it
changes the group ownership of the socket for ntpd to *staff*
$ls -l /usr/local/samba/var/lib/ntp_signd/
total 0
srwxrwxrwx 1 root *staff* 0 May 6 16:35 socket
The documentation says it needs to be *ntp*....
(FYI: i'm running this on debian wheezy)
I have just added ntp to group staff, but that seems

Samba 3 dynamically enable or disable share
Hello,
? ?I wonder if it is possible to dynamically enable/disable samba 3 shares.?
Here is my problem.?
On a remote server I have 4 removable hard drives, large capacity. I am not using any RAID/JBOD, so each drive is mounted individually (like /mnt/DISK1, /mnt/DISK2 etc) and each drive is individually shared, something like:
[STORAGE01]
path = /mnt/DISK1
Guest OK = false
...

[PATCH 0/2] Hyper-V synthetic interrupt controller
This patchset implements the KVM part of the synthetic interrupt
controller (synic) which is a building block of the Hyper-V
paravirtualized device bus (vmbus).
Synic is a lapic extension, which is controlled via MSRs and maintains
for each vCPU
- 16 synthetic interrupt "lines" (SINT's); each can be configured to
trigger a specific interrupt vector optionally with auto-EOI

using "= matrix (...)" in .C calls
Dear R-devel,
I am trying to alter rpart so that it makes additional calculations when
growing the tree.
In the "rpart.s" there is a call to the C routine:
rp <- .C("s_to_rp2",
as.integer(nobs),
as.integer(nsplit),
as.integer(nodes),
as.integer(ncat),

fexact.c
Dear All,
I am using fexact.c on a C++ program I wrote. To minimize dependencies on
other files (e.g., to not need to include R.h and ctest.h ---now I only
include the R files Boolean.h, Constants.h, and Memory.h), I have re-written
all declarations of Sints as ints and, what is potentially more serious, I
have re-written the line (lines 329 and 330, in fexact.c on R-1.6.1)

Thanks in advance
