W2k fails to join samba domain
Ok, I have a really frustrating one here.
Attached is the capture of what is on the wire when this win2k box is trying to
join the domain. It was given user "root" and password "dork" to join the
domain "aussec". The win2k box just comes up with unknown user or bad password...
I must be missing something as another linux box can join the domain properly

openssh-based file transfers (e.g. rsync, scp, ...) are running 40 (!!) times faster via IPv4 than IPv6
Vincenzo,
thanks for answering !!!
As I found out before that this slow down only happens for encrypted transmissions, I've followed your suggestion and
tested with a https-based download, from my Nextcloud instance on my VPS.
Same slow speed when connecting via IPv6, and as fast as expected when connecting via IPv4.
Just to confirm: There's NO dependency/relation between openssh and

Retrieving x argument name from a trellis object in R 2.8.0
Dear all,
let consider the following function:
Fun1 <- function() {
library(lattice)
plot1 <- 1:10~1:10
pl1 <- xyplot(plot1)
return(pl1$call$x)
}
In R 2.5.0 (or older version) we have
> Fun1()
plot1
but starting from R 2.5.1 until the latest R 2.8.0 we obtain instead
> Fun1()
NULL
because pl1$call seems to be equal to xyplot() without arguments.

Client options to server
Hi,
I'm using openssh 4.4
I'm trying to develop a new SSH appliance, but I need some parameters
from client.
In client I setup new record in the structure options that I think are
passed to server.
Where is the structure of the server where stored client options?
Thanks

Samba problem
Hello,
I am trying to learn how to use Samba. I first just want to get it to
work, then I'll make it better.
I am not concerned about security since everything is on a private network.
I am following the material in "CentOS 6 Linux Server Cookbook" by
Jonathan Hobson.
I am using two virtual computers with Virtual Box running on Fedora 19.
Both virtual computers have bridged
