[PATCH 00/45] initial arm v8 (64-bit) support
First off, Apologies for the massive patch series... This series boots a 32-bit dom0 kernel to a command prompt on an ARMv8 (AArch64) model. The kernel is the same one as I am currently using with the 32 bit hypervisor I haven''t yet tried starting a guest or anything super advanced like that ;-). Also there is not real support for 64-bit domains at all, although in one or two places I

[PATCH] xen: arm: Fixing ttbcr (TCR_EL1 for AArch64) size.
This patch fixes size of ttbcr register (TCR_EL1 in case of AArch64) and it''s programming considering size in case of context switch. Currently ttbcr is defined as 32b register but for AArch64 TCR_EL1 size is 64b. [PATCH v2 0/2] Implement VFP context switch for arm32
Hello, This is the second version of this patch series. I only implement the VPF context switch support for arm32 and add dummy function to avoid compilation on arm64. I have switched the order of the patch because the old second one can be applied alone and the patch are cleaner :). For all the changes see each patch. Cheers, Julien Grall (2): xen/arm: don''t enable VFP on XEN

[PATCH v4 00/25] xen: ARMv7 with virtualization extensions
Hello everyone, this is the fourth version of the patch series that introduces ARMv7 with virtualization extensions support in Xen. The series allows Xen and Dom0 to boot on a Cortex-A15 based Versatile Express simulator. See the following announce email for more informations about what we are trying to achieve, as well as the original git history: See

[PATCH RFC 00/25] xen: ARMv7 with virtualization extensions
Hello everyone, this is the very first version of the patch series that introduces ARMv7 with virtualization extensions support in Xen. The series allows Xen and Dom0 to boot on a Cortex-A15 based Versatile Express simulator. [PATCH] xen: arm32: Use system wide TLB flushes, not just inner-shareable
We currently setup page table walks etc as outer-shareable. Given we don''t really make the distinction between inner- and outer-shareable yet err on theside of safety. [PATCH 0 of 9] (v2) arm: SMP boot
This patch series implements SMP boot for arch/arm, as far as getting all CPUs up and running the idle loop. Changes from v1: - moved barriers out of loop in udelay() - dropped broken GIC change in favour of explanatory comment - made the increment of ready_cpus atomic (I couldn''t move the increment to before signalling the next CPU because the PT switch has to happen between

[PATCH v8 8/5] Add UART support and arch timer initialization for OMAP5
Since OMAP UART has a few distinct features than common 8250 UART, I re-implemented its driver rather than porting it based on ns16550.c. There are mainly two big differences between the implementations. First, OMAP UART introduces the concept of register access mode, which divides the register map into seperated space. Switching the access mode is then necessary when configuring it. Second, THRE

[PATCH v5 0/7] Dissociate logical and gic/hardware CPU ID
Hi, This is the fifth version of this patch series. With the Versatile Express TC2, it''s possible to boot only with A7 or A15. If the user choose to boot with only A7, the CPU ID will start at 0x100. As Xen relies on it to set the logical ID and the GIC, it won''t be possible to use Xen with this use case. This patch series is divided in 3 parts: - Patch 1: prepare Xen

[PATCH v2 00/14] xen: arm: 64-bit guest support and domU FDT autogeneration
I''ve addressed all (I think/hope) of the review comments. The main change is to expose the guest virtual platform (e.g. memory layout and interrupt usage etc) to the toolstack via the public interface. This is then used during FDT generation. I have just codified the current defacto standard layout, it''s probably not the best layout but any change can be a separate patch/series.

Data Abort while in booting when using Julien's new patches on Arndale Board
Hello, I am trying to boot Arndale board with Julien''s new XenARM patch series. But I have got "Data Abort" while in booting. My environment is: - Arndale Board - Xen-4.3-unstable from branch "arm" in git://xenbits.xen.org/people/julieng/xen-unstable.git - Dom0 Kernel from branch "dev-arndale-dom0-3.9" in

[PATCH v7 0/5] xen: ARM HDLCD video driver
Hi all, these are the remaining unapplied patches of the ARM HDLCD patch series. Changes in v7: - rebased on b61ed421d2c85b5b106c63f2c14f8aa162b282f0; - turn more printk and panic into early_printk and early_panic. [PATCH 00/09] arm: tools: build for arm64 and enable cross-compiling for both arm32 and arm64
The following patches shave some rough edges off the tools build system to allow cross compiling for at least arm32 and arm64 based on the Debian/Ubuntu multiarch infrastructure. They also add the necessary fixes to build for arm64 (which I have only tried cross, not native). I have posted some instructions on how to compile with these patches on the wiki:

[PATCH v6 00/16] xen: arm: 64-bit guest support and domU FDT autogeneration
Biggest change is to switch the new DTB node to /xen-core-devices instead of /xen at Stefano''s request. I also dropped the few patches title HACK etc which weren''t supposed to be there and fixed up some bits and pieces which folks commented on. George, WRT the freeze I think this is functionality which we cannot ship Xen 4.4 without. The impact is entirely constrained to the

[PATCH v5 0/5] xen: public interface and foreign struct check changes for arm
I last posted this back in April to critical acclaim (AKA near total silence). I''m not sure who looks after tools/include/xen-foreign. I had thought it was Jan but I think I was confused and was thinking of the semi-related xen/include/compat stuff. IOW I think nobody felt "responsible". Unless there''s any objection lets just treat this as coming under tools. The

[PATCH RFC 0/8] xen/arm: initial cubieboard2 support.
See http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/xen/devel/297170 for some information on how to get this going. I''ve rebased and addressed the review comments. As before several of the patches are not to be applied because they can be done better using infrastructure from Julien''s "Allow Xen to boot with a raw Device Tree" patch. They are included for completeness. With
