[PATCH] x86/ACPI: invalidate BGRT
Since the image pointed to may (and generally will) live in boot services memory (which we add to the global memory pool long before ACPI tables get looked at), we should prevent Dom0 from trying to retrieve the image data. The alternatives would be to - not add boot services memory to the global pool at all, or - defer adding boot services memory until Dom0 indicates it is safe to do so, or -

[RFC 11/13] ACPI: Add VIOT table
Add support for a new ACPI table that embeds other tables describing a platform's IOMMU topology. Currently the only supported base table is IORT. The VIOT contains an IORT with additional node types, that describe a virtio-iommu. [PATCH 1/1] lua: Cleaned up the dmi table structure in Lua.c32 and added all missing DMI subtables
From: Hung-chi Lihn <hlihn at google.com> In the current Lua.c32 DMI implementation, it is a flat table with dotted names in table entries. It also misses a number DMI sub-tables. This patch, cleans up the DMI table structure using Lua's nested table structure and adds all missing DMI sub-tables. If a DMI sub-table is not supported by the hardware (not filled), then the corresponding

odds ratios for n-way tables: seeking an *apply-able method
I'm looking for a way to generalize the calculation of (log) odds ratios for 2 x 2 x {strata} frequency tables in vcd::oddsratio() to R x C x {strata} tables. For an R x C table, F, odds ratios can be defined in several ways; one simple way, particularly for tables with ordered factors, is to calculate the set of continuation odds ratios, based on the (R-1)x(C-1) set of 2x2 tables with

[RFC 08/13] ACPI/IORT: Add callback to update a device's fwnode
For a PCI-based IOMMU, IORT isn't in charge of allocating a fwnode. Let the IOMMU driver update the fwnode associated to an IORT node when available. [RFC 06/13] ACPI/IORT: Support VIOT virtio-pci node
When virtio-iommu uses the PCI transport, IORT doesn't instantiate the device and doesn't create a fwnode. They will be created later by the PCI subsystem. Store the information needed to identify the IOMMU in iort_fwnode_list. [RFC GIT PATCHES] acpioff: COM32 module to shut off machine using ACPI
Hi all, I have written a COM32 module called "acpioff", that, not surprisingly, powers off a machine using ACPI. I have tested it only using pxelinux.0 with a SeaBIOS/Qemu virtual machine. Since the changeset pulls in a "Linux-ized" version of the open source ACPI Component Architecture, it was too big to post as a patches to the list. See the git pull-request output below.

[PATCH 1/2] Implement APEI ERST feature to Xen
Implement APEI ERST feature to Xen APEI are ACPI4.0 new features. It consists of ERST, BERT, HEST, and EINJ. ERST is used to save fault error log to a platform persistent storage, so that when reboot os can retrieve the error log and handle it. This patch is used to implement ERST feature to Xen. It consists of 3-level hierarchy: operation level, action level, and instruction level. Instruction

Any data table component for rails?
Hello all, is there any data table component for rails which can sort/search/pagination etc? I''ve checked out jquery plugin datatables, which can sort/search/pagination, but for large dataset of course need to go server side, need to pass params[:sort]/params[:search]/params[:pagination] to server side, which involves a lot of code, I''ve checked out rubygems.org and found a

Getting "Approximate Estimates after Deleting Factors" out from fastbw()
Hello! I am using relatively simple linear model. By applying fastbw() on ols() results from rms package I would like to get subtable "Approximate Estimates after Deleting Factors". However, it seems this is not possible. Am I right? I can only get coefficients for variables kept in the model (for example: x$coefficients), but not S.E., Wald's Z and P? Is there any easy way to

odds ratios in multiway tables (stratified)
Hi, does anyone know of a function to calculate odds ratios in multiway tables (stratified) (+ the other usual statistics involved) i mean: say we have a table r*c*d, For every d (depth) we have a r*c table, and in this table the odds ratio's are calculated for every 2*2 subtable in it. logically this function would look like): ORs(multiwaytable) or ORs(data$var1r,data$var2c,data$var3d)

[RFC 00/13] virtio-iommu on non-devicetree platforms
I'm seeking feedback on multi-platform support for virtio-iommu. At the moment only devicetree (DT) is supported and we don't have a pleasant solution for other platforms. Once we figure out the topology description, x86 support is trivial. Since the IOMMU manages memory accesses from other devices, the guest kernel needs to initialize the IOMMU before endpoints start issuing DMA.
