xennet: skb rides the rocket: 20 slots
Hi Ian, Today i fired up an old VM with a bittorrent client, trying to download some torrents. I seem to be hitting the unlikely case of "xennet: skb rides the rocket: xx slots" and this results in some dropped packets in domU, I don''t see any warnings in dom0. I have added some extra info, but i don''t have enough knowledge if this could/should be prevented from

[PATCH] xen/pvhvm: If xen_platform_pci=0 is set don''t blow up.
The user has the option of disabling the platform driver: 00:02.0 Unassigned class [ff80]: XenSource, Inc. Xen Platform Device (rev 01) which is used to unplug the emulated drivers (IDE, Realtek 8169, etc) and allow the PV drivers to take over. If the user wishes to disable that they can set: xen_platform_pci=0 (in the guest config file) or xen_emul_unplug=never (on the Linux command

Status of FLR in Xen 4.4
Hi everyone, I would like to ask what the current status of FLR, or better of FLR emulation is in latest Xen and if we can expect better support in the future. I''m asking because with xl (latest build and traditional qemu, not upstream), I always had problems with rebooting domUs which have vga cards passed through to them, because appearently they don''t get reinitialized and

IOMMU and AMD 890fx
Hi, All the reviews for the AMD 890fx chipset reported that it supports IOMMU v1.2. But I cannot find any mention of that on AMD site. Does 890fx support IOMMU? Do 890fx motherboards with IOMMU exist? Does Xen support 890fx? xhci passthrough
Hi Konrad, Due to a 2.6.37-merge-window kernel now being able to boot under Xen i was able to test my xhci controller under dom0 which i previously couldn''t. The results: A) 2.6.37-merge-window kernel baremetal: Videograbbing while doing 20 iterations of make -j6 of kernel works. B) Xen + 2.6.37-merge-window kernel as Dom0: Videograbbing while doing 20 iterations of make -j6 of kernel

Branch devel/acpi-cpufreq.v4 not yet in linux-next ?
Hi Konrad, The devel/acpi-cpufreq.v4 branch doesn''t seem to be merged into your linux-next branch yet. Is it still targeted for 3.3 ? I have been running your testing branch with linus his tree pulled on top of that, and it ran stable for me. Thx for all the hard work upstreaming everything ! -- Sander

[PATCH v2 0/6] Collected vdso/vsyscall fixes for 3.1
This fixes various problems that cropped up with the vdso patches. - Patch 1 fixes an information leak to userspace. - Patches 2 and 3 fix the kernel build on gold. - Patches 4 and 5 fix Xen (I hope). - Patch 6 (optional) adds a trace event to vsyscall emulation. It will make it easier to handle performance regression reports :) [1]
