I''m having a problem with: http://pastebin.com/CuGHqwhy
It occurs on the reboot, but sometimes, when I try to start manually one of
my machines. Sometime, one of the machines does not want to start
permanently and I have to reinstall/restore it.
This problem comes for me randomly, but maybe there is a trigger.

libguestfs on Debian 6 squeeze problems
I'm trying to install libguestfs on Debian squeeze installed from

It does not work. Here are the details:
I was able to install libguestfs-tools and its dependencies. However,
aptitude removed the following two packages: qemu and qemu-system. I'm

Since oldstable-bpo archive in debian is always subject to manual
backports-policy processing (all uploads are processed manually),
I don't push stuff to oldstable-bpo often. On the other hand, this

Good value for /proc/sys/vm/min_free_kbytes
Hi,
what would be a good value for
/proc/sys/vm/min_free_kbytes
on a Dual-CPU EM64T System with 8 GB of memory. Kernel is
2.6.9-42.0.3.ELsmp. I know that the default might be a bit low.
Unfortunatelly the documentation is a bit weak in this area.
We are experiencing responsiveness problems (and higher than expected
load) when the system is under combined memory+network+disk-IO stress.
