NIC Stability Problems Under Xen 4.4 / CentOS 6 / Linux 3.18
I have three different types of CentOS 6 Xen 4.4 based hypervisors (by hardware) that are experiencing stability issues which I haven't been able to track down. All three types seem to be having issues with NIC and/or PCIe. In most cases, the issues are unrecoverable and require a hard boot to resolve. All have Intel NICs. Often the systems will remain stable for days or weeks, then

2.6.31 xenified kernel - not ready for production
Hi, I just want to know if somebody use 2.6.31.4 xenified kernel (aka OpenSUSE) in production? We have been testing it on new Nehalem Xeon server for few weeks w/o any problem. But as soon we tried it on production machine - after several production domUs started - hard OS failure. We had to switch back to 2.6.18.8 - xen stock kernel. RODBC sqlSave with multiple schema in DB2
Hi, I am trying to use sqlSave to write a dataframe to an existing table in a DB2 database. The database contains two schemas. My experience is the following: (1) in the case that tablename is left empty in sqlSave, R writes to the instance level schema (2) in the case that a tablename is specified and that table name exists only once in the database, R will write to that table irrespective

ayuda frecuencia asistencia clase

Simple matrix transformation question
I know this is likely very simple. I want to change a matrix that was given to me not sorted by timestamp to sorted by timestamp. It was sorted by CRAH_Name. There are 264k records initially. The CRAH names start at 11 and go to 98 but there are a number of missing values (CRAH_Name), total approx. 50. A small example of the given matrix Time_Stamp Power CRAH_Name 4/16/2012 00:00 3.4862 11

Must be a better way to collate sequenced data
I have data that looks like this time_stamp (seconds) user_id The data is (partial) ordered by time - in that sometimes transactions occur at the same timestamp. The output I want is collated by transaction time on a per user basis, normalized by the maximum number of transactions per user, and aggregated over each day. So, if the users have 50 transactions in the first day and 20 transactions

How do i do that so everything gets dont as the steps depend on each other. Example: cd /system_backups/ tar cvf apache-conf.tar /etc/httpd/conf/* gzip -v9 apache-conf.tar tar cvf apache-data.tar /var/www/* gzip -v9 apache-data.tar
